It's my first graduation so I am unsure, but from what I hear, it's just four hours of students and teachers crying. My 'fun for all' is sarcastic. I shall be left there, but left out because I am the strange foreigner.

Aw cmon,i've heard that they really love foreigners who can speak Japanese,it means that they made an effort (and in your case a great deal of effort) to integrate into the society there.Sure,there's the rare oddball who decides that Japan can be inhabited by Japanese alone,but those people are just.....Bursting with too much pride?

Some of my teachers did that when we graduated from what we call secondary school,which is almost equilavent to the high school over there.

I appreciate the thought, but truth is I want to get to know these kids way more than they are willing to try with me even if because they are all shy of using English. I'm maybe in the End of Year Blues, but I'm expecting to walk away from the graduation feeling sad and grumpy that I don't get to see the kids again. It's the life of a foreign teacher.

But I think you would be one of the rare ones Deni-chan, I'd teach you English anytime
