This is pretty common for artist in Hong Kong and Taiwan to buy their own CD from the record store, especially on the release day. Even though they already have a copy before the general public.Rank57 wrote:There's so much awesome in this simple action...https://twitter.com/scandal_rina/status/385964707166699520

"Yesterday I konnitsuya'd! I went to get STANDARD"
First, it's so casual. There are other huge stores selling their singles and albums, but Rina sounds like a regular customer here, going to her favorite store.
Second, there's a sense of... I don't know, going along with one of Mami's jokes.
The last one I can't comprehend, but it still is amazing. The own artist giving herself the trouble of going to the store and buying her product like a fan would do. I know it's not the first time Rina does this, but maybe it's a kind of "ritual" of hers, a sense of satisfaction or achievement. Just imagine going to the store to buy your favorite artist's new album, and who you meet at the cashier?! Or even the cashier him/herself, seeing that the person buying the album is the same on the jacket...
I don't know if the other girls buy their own album like Rina does, but this is one of those moments when you realize Rina is kind of like us, just another SCANDAL fan, even if she is actually a member of the band.
Yes, that is kind of a "ritual" meaning that "EVERYBODY BUY IT!" (including the artist themselves). I think the same apply there. You know what I mean?
