I wish I checked out this post earlier! I was at the Stereopony - Santa Ana performance on April 12th. The girls were awesome live! I stayed till Yost kicked us out. AIMI's a powerful singer for a such a tiny girl. I like NOHANA's new look, she's sportin Mami's old hairstyle. I think it suits her. Overall, I had a great time. Hopefully both SCANDAL and Stereopony will return to the U.S. and maybe we'll get a dream SCANDALPony conert!

Following SCANDAL isn't just fandom, it's a way of life. /common

@ AFan: Oh, heh, I just replied to you on the Stereopony thread... HA HA! But yeah man, we usually post events and happenings here in this thread for the majority to see... It could be whatever you want such as concerts, gatherings, etc., but it'll get turned into it's own topic if something gets pretty well discussed here...

This is a nationwide thread so you'll see info from wherever in the US compiled here... sorta...

Other than that, we'll be seeing you at the next meet!

^ You haven't seen Dark of the Moon yet? NO WAY!!! As a movie, it was pretty damn good, but I'm a fan of the Decepticons and Hollywood movies always have the good guys winning in the end, so I knew it would have never worked out... No spoilers though, that was my 2 cents that would have made the movie more epic than it was...

I'll bring it over next time or something... Actually, I'll bring you the IDW books, that Transformers Universe is way darker and bloodier than you think... ALL HAIL MEGATRON MARTINEZ!!!

For those NOT on Facebook (looking at you bigOeyez), some of us are going to this screening. According to the trailer "Tormented" features SCANDAL's "Burn". This fits into your schedule Lale. Maybe we can grab dinner on the Strip before the movie.

For those of you in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have good news if you want to sing SCANDAL songs at karaoke! I just went to Music Tunnel KTV in Richmond, and they have 36 SCANDAL songs! They have a few rooms with Japanese karaoke machines that are pretty up to date. Unfortunately, they didn't have Harukaze yet, but they had almost every single, as well as B-sides and album songs like Switch, Hello! Hello!, Aitai, Koi no Kajitsu, etc.

They also have a lot of recent anime songs, and plenty of other Japanese music (for example, 20+ Stereopony songs). Since it's a Japanese machine, they basically have everything that a karaoke place in Japan would have. AKB48 had more songs than The Beatles...

@ Geo: Now that's some badass karaoke'ing we can do in the Bay! I still haven't got a date down, but I do still plan on visiting my cousin sometime by summer (knowing me, before the end of the year... HA!), so it's still on like Tron when I make my way up there... uh, alcohol OK? Heh, there's always places like that around... I get more dynamic as the night gets hazier...

For those of you who couldnt join our SH group that went out to the Tormented / Rabbit Horror 3D movie premiere in LA here's a quick summary of highlights...

During the Q&A at the end of the movie, propglenn introduced us as representatives of an international SCANDAL fan club and then proceeded to ask about their inclusion in the movie with the ending theme and stuff. This got the attention of someone who approached us after we got out of the theater, saying he was representing a company from Japan that works with SCANDAL and said that apparently one of the girls was even supposed to be there for the premiere! Imagine how surprised we would've been... but he said that unfortunately they were a bit burnt out or whatnot after Budokan and that didn't end up happening. But on the note of Budokan, I explained to the guy how a bunch of us actually went to Japan to watch the Budokan performance. I actually keep the ticket in my wallet (I'm not crazy, I swear lol) and after I showed it to the guy he seemed pretty amazed and took pictures of us with the ticket and of the ticket itself and said he would send the pictures to SCANDAL's management!

So yeah! for not having any expectations for the night at all really, besides hearing Burn while watching credits roll lol, it ended up being a pretty awesome night! and actually at the end our little SH group got a picture with the director of the movie which was cool (I tweeted the girls the picture trying to explain that this was at the movie premiere but no response Sad haha)

Man, I should have bought a movie poster earlier in the month to attempt to get it signed at the viewing... Which would have ended in a success by the way things turned out... DAMN IT!!! Heh, but like you said, who would have known?!

I got dibs that it was Haruna that was coming over... Shortly after that becomes a reality, please be kind to rent me out a room at your place indefinitely... onegai shimasu...

I ended up not going to the Zelda Symphony, actually... probably should have. At least I made up for it with the Stereopony concert a few weeks later.

On a related note, last week I bought Hyrule Historia (for those of you who aren't Zelda nerds like me, it's an awesome official Nintendo artbook/guidebook for the Zelda series, only released in Japan) from Kinokuniya in San Francisco. I've come to realize how amazing that store really is. They have the latest manga, light novels, and artbooks from Japan at a great price. The last time I went in March, they also had music magazines with SCANDAL features, from when they were doing lots of promotion before Budokan. There weren't any left last week though :/

@ Geo: Yeah Kinokuniya is yummy stuff, I like the location in Washington the best because it's pretty much in downtown and connected to Uwajimaya center... The ones here in LA and SD aren't bad either, but I found that people were more sociable up North, so it wasn't necessarily the shop itself that won me over... Happy

Zelda Symphony for me in July! WOOT!!!

@ Charly: We're pretty much scattered around the US, but it just appears that SoCal is the hotspot because a majority of the shows, concerts, etc., happens to land on the Westcoast... I keep in contact with everyone around the country occasionally just because, whether it's a simple "hey" or specific inquiry, we stay connected one way or another... Easier done if you're on FB, but I keep it old school and go directly to the source through rotary phones and such... HA HA!

@ Aosaru: Registration fee will go up another $10 if you don't register by the first deadline, but I registered last year so my fee was about $45... I was training for Ninja Warrior as well last year so I couldn't let it all go to waste... What better way to keep in shape for the next competition than to run away from zombies? :D

6 miles is the max you should be able to run, but 10 miles in an hour should be your aim for now... You figure that it's 3+ miles minimum if you take the correct route, 6+ if you go the wrong way, then you put the obstacles into account... 10 miles in an hour seems about right to not get left in the dust? HA! Plus the marathon releases the next wave of runners every 30mins, so you don't want to get lapped...

d\\\\'oh I really regret the fact that I stopped running after high school. I use to be able to do 8+ miles at a decent speed. haha and I don't mind getting lapped as long as I don't "get eaten." Hehee Hm. Maybe I should train for next years marathon instead.

haha and you use this competition as training? ROFL
