Kamina of Guren Lagann - well do you even need to ask? his views and life and bravery rocks!!

Tomoyo Sakagami of Clannad - she has it all !! beauty, brains, and she could kick the ass of any delinquent out there

I'd have a big list since I watch too much anime, but I'll try and make the list as small as I can.

Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass) - One of the most intelligent characters in the history of anime.
Light Yagami (Death Note) - Another intelligent character, same ending like Lelouch.
Kamina (Gurren Lagann) - Biggest rolemodel for any guy. He's on a level far beyond everyone else!
Zaraki Kenpachi (Bleach) - What can I say about this guy? Brute force, takes slashes, and keeps going like nothing happened.
Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist) - Smart, cool, and short. .uhuh.
Takizawa Akira (Eden of the East) - Another very intelligent character, who also has the epic phone! .nervous.
Black Star (Soul Eater) - The assassin who will surpass god, enough said! .evilgrin.
Orihara Izaya (Durarara!!) - Pretty creepy character, the "informant", and has a pretty messed up head.
Isayama Yomi (Ga-Rei Zero) - She was a really beautiful character, strong, loving, and an unexpected fate.

Yeah.. the girls don't get much leading roles in the animes I watch.. sorry lol. .sweat.

hmm also on Isayama Yomi - unexpected fate it is xD i really liked her coz of her "older version of Enma Ai looks" lol

Heero Yuy (Gundam Wing) - Awesome pilot, kicks ass, keeps track of the mission and handles Wing Zero, which could probably annihilate the Earth if he wishes to.

Zaraki Kenpachi (Bleach) - He likes to fight and when he fights, it's like there is war and mayhem and chaos.

Uchiha Itachi (Naruto) - Wide variety of techiniques, especially the eye techniques and Susanoo, which they say, makes him invincible.

Voltes V - Can kick all the Bozanian asses back to their home planet.

Zetsubou Sensei - He just won't die plus all the girls seem to be attracted to him.

Senjougahara (Bakemonogatari) - Tsundere, what more can you ask? and office supplies from nowhere .waaa.
Zaraki Kenpachi (BLEACH) - Epitome of badassness
Lelouch/Zero (Code Geass) - is being calculative considered cool? although he has been defeated a few times he managed to pull off his ultimate plan.
Haseo (.hack) - I wouldn't say his personality, but Xth form is cool indeed.
Harima Kenji (School Rumble) - Hurricane (Hariken) Kick!! and mimicking the villain of Battle Royale is the definition of cool.

Kuchiki Byakuya(BLEACH) - he's the coolest captain among 13 gotei captain
Edward Elric(FMA) - he's smart and cool. he's get angry when somenone said him "chibi". he makes funny face, lol
Monkey D Luffy(ONE PIECE) - the man who do anything for his nakama. it touches my heart,

I'll have to add Hatake Kakashi (Naruto) - Only during the first series, he's not as cool once Naruto and crew get stronger.

Toshiro Hitsugaya (bleach) hes got an awesome bankai ice dragon rules!!

1) Ichigo Kurosaki [.Bleach.] - .he's too awesome and hot~ <3 .his Zangetsu is so cool~! XD .and his personality is whoa~ XD
2) Roy Mustang [.FMA.] - his hotness melts me so much~ .and he's fire alchemy is so awesome~ <3 *snaps fingers like Roy*
3) Usui [.Kaichou wa Maid-sama.] - .he's just plain cool and awesome~ XD .his eyes are such blinding~! XD
4) Fai D Flowright [.Tsubasa Chronicles.] - .his blue eyes melts me to liquid~ <3 and he has amazing magic skills are cool~ XD .and his look as a vampire is also cool~
5) China/ Yao Wong [.Axis Powers Hetalia.] - .his immortal and has awesome kung fu skills that's why~! XD
6) Ling Yao [.FMA.] - .being a Xingnese prince means everything to me that's why he's so cool~ XD
7) Byakuya Kuchiki [.Bleach.] - .i just love bishounen guys~! <3

Portgas D. Ace(One Piece) - Coolest brother you'll ever have. Too bad he died

Sawako Yamanaka - K-ON! She's cute when in a normal mood, but she rocks, yeah (and becomes crazy, lol)! .hora.
Isshin Kurosaki - Bleach He is just... Awesome! He's funny but he's powerful and I like his smile and posture... He's so charming! :3 lol
Tamaki Kawazoe - Bamboo Blade I'm a big fan of her... She is a kendo prodigy, is quiet and I love how she likes tokusatsu *-* (Yeah, tokusatsu is nice! ~)
Dark Mousy - DNAngel I love his clothes, his posture and the hair color... It makes him really cool and charming :3
Akira Takano - School Rumble She's mysterious and intelligent... And I like how she is serious even living between that funny people xD

I'd say the coolest villain has got to be is......Aizen(BLEACH)
