I like it. Catchy with good hook and melody and I really like that riff Mami plays before the choruses. I also appreciate the changes going on between the different parts in the song.

See people? If you just give the entire song a chance rather than basing your opinion on a 30-40 second clip of the chorus, most of y'all will change your thoughts on the track!

I know it's a little late, but these are my thoughts about the previews and Taiyou SCANDALOUS radio rip:

Taiyou SCANDALOUS - The preview already looked promising and the full song it's really good.

Welcome Home - My favourite preview. I already like the song and can't wait to listen the full version!

Koi no Hajimari wa Diet - It also reminded me very much of Perfume. It's different from what you would expect from Scandal but I liked. Well, I'm a Perfume fan, so I guess it explain why I liked...

Cherry Jam - On the other side, other song you wouldn't expect to be from Scandal, but in this case I didn't enjoy the rap thing.

I know they are trying new things, but I would prefer the subunits doing something more related to scandal style than going so far as hip hop or eletro...

But Taiyou SCANDALOUS and Welcome Home are strong enough to make this a good single after all. I think I'm not so pessimist about this and I dont believe we will see rapping and eletropop in the next singles. It's probably a one time thing (I hope).

well, I don't think they are doing something that isn't related to scandal
Mami and Timo act like rappers sometimes, I think they like that, is some kind of funny hobbie of theirs
And Haru is a dancer(I guess), she probably like of eletro
I think this is the other face of scandal, that we don't know yet!!
But doesn't mean that they will do this everytime!!

Taiyou SCANDALOUS is playing non-stop since last night. i really like it haha. i can't wait for the other songs.. this single is really interesting. .clap.

The song "Taiyo Scandalous" has grown on me since I finally got a copy of the full radio rip and have been listening to it with my SCANDAL mix. To me it's a great sounding song. It's not as pop sounding as the preview first made it out to be.

I still think "Welcome Home" is my favorite, but I have yet to hear it entirely. I usually prefer their B-side songs anyway so it's not surprising. For some reason their B-side songs just sound like they're arranged better to me.

There's no doubt about the Electro-Pop sound of "Koi no Hajimari wa Diet" I like the sound of it. An entirely new sound for the girls, but they've been exploring new sounds since Baby Action and for me it's just another sign of their growth musically.

I'm bigger fan of Rock over Rap, but "Cherry Jam" brought a smile to my face the moment I heard it. It reminds me of the classic 80's Rap sound. It's like an homage to sounds of Run DMC & the early Beastie Boys before gankster rap and over sampling took over.

Taiyo Scandalous PV has just been released by SONY Music on youtube, but it's only for Japanese viewer. Need someone to reupload it.

The PV preview reminds me of the WaterBoys drama

Their new video is pretty different from ther previous ones. It totally has that summer feel to it! I can't wait to see the full version. Hopefully Sony lets the rest of the world see it.

hahaha, I agree... it really is SCANDALOUS .nosebleed.

The PV does capture that "summer feel" and the girls do look like they had fun making it, but I'm not that fond of it so far.
On another note, their outfits look GREAT!
