I think (and hope a bit...) that it's just a rumor. scandal sushi posted it without any other source link, but...really, a single? I think it's too much early ;__; (even if scandal don't know what "early" is lol)

The title is Taiyou Sukandarasu, ie Sun Scandalous or something similar It probably has some truth in it, I don't know why something like this would be fake...If true, hooray!

Well you when Rina posted herself being in the studio with the lot their obviously up to something... and maybe this is it... I mean they normally release a single or something every 3-4 months so it looks realistic they'd put another album out by july... but we'll have to wait...

I don't think it's too early for them to release a new single in July... the average active Japanese artist especially those who are with Sony, on a year basis will have at least 3 singles and 1 album. They're right on schedule

I think they are on schedule as well.

July would be a great time to release a new single. It's right before their IDO tour so they could use the tour and single to mutually promote each other.

Japanese artists are expected to WORK... none of this lying around for 2 years complaining about it not "feeling right" in the studio...

I would expect them to have something new out by July. So far this year they've done one new single and a "best" album of previously released material that they probably had very little involvement in other than helping pick the songs. For a Japanese band, 2 singles in 7 months is not a lot of output. Last year they did 3 singles and an original album; in 2010 they did 5 singles, plus an EP, an original album *and* a DVD! So they're actually behind their regular pace this year.

hmm haha ive been looking for sources to try and confirm this....yet to no avail. still it's an interesting song title. so far the only sources for me that are suggesting a new single is the girls themselves. at the moment the girls have been refering in their blogs that "today's recording day" so far Tomo said the song is an interesting one. i have read Rina and Mami's and so far they have only mentioned its recording day. nothing really along the lines of new single yet.

well im going to try and translate at least 2 of the 3 blogs from today, my more than usual since im still learning a bunch if nobody uploads it here. if someone else does before me that will be awesome.

i think the reason why they had few singles released last yr was because of haru's voice...

I know a lot of people are talking about Haruna's voice, but I don't really hear it. She sounds the same to me on Harukaze, the same on the b-sides to it and she sounded the same to me at Budokan as at other shows I've heard her at (sometimes she struggles to hit the high notes live, but she always has). I think if anything, the composers who worked on Baby Action just had her singing a little bit out of range a lot of the time - that's not her voice changing, it's the music changing, and singing those songs live is probably harder for her. They just need to write music that plays more to her strengths. She has a pretty low voice and probably only a couple octaves of range, but she sounds great if she can just stick to that range.

If a band or artist in Japan isn't constantly putting out new music, they get forgotten really quickly. And it was that whirlwind year of 2010 that really put them on the map in Japan, so if they want to continue growing their fan base (and I know they do), they need to keep working hard and never stop...

this for sure. I think it's normal to say "aren't they work too much?" when you always think about releases of cds in thr western market. japan's one of cours works in a different way
for now, the only thing we need is an official news about this probable single u_ù

The release date would fit in their regular shedule, I'm just a bit sceptical about the name
I guess we'll just have to wait for something official.
