New album out! What do people think of the new songs?
At first impression all the songs seem coated in sugar in an attempt to follow the houkago teatime style.
I thought having a real cassette was very cool and retro and an effective ploy to get you to fork out more for the limited edish.
In order, I liked:
Tenshi ni fureta yo
Ichigo Parfait etc
Tokimeki sugar
samidare etc
honey sweet teatime
houkago teatime
fuyu no hi

I actually love the album. The "Cassette Mix" is my favourite of the 2 CDs though, mostly because of the little bits in between the songs, although they're mostly Yui going "hah hah hah! Poink!" as she walks up to and then stops the tape recorder.

My favourite part about the album? A full version of Tenshi ni Fureta yo! Ever since episode 24 aired, I've wanted this song. I had a rip of the version from the anime, but it was just way too short.

Honey Sweet Tea Time and Houkago Tea Time were great tracks too. I'm actually surprised we didn't get HSTT as an insert song, but oh well.

Now I just have to wait about a week for my copy to get here ^^ Thank god for pirating eh? It'll be worth the wait though, First Press FTW! :D
