There is a really good fanfic on FanFiction.net called "Nice Girls Finish Last". It's about Mio and Ritsu getting together, Yui and Azusa getting together ( .clap.) and Mugi and a mystery character getting together. It's really well written. It's not erotica either for those of you who shy away from stuff like that.

However the authors lack of knowledge re Japanese Schooling system is a bit jarring. There's a homeroom for a reason!

To be fair, he does mention that Sawako is a very lazy homeroom teacher, which is very easy to imagine.
As far as the MioxRitsu stuff goes, it is very well done. The speed it goes at is really well done, in that its on the 17th chapter and they are only just about to get together. Not too fast by any means, unlike some stories where they end up going from straight to lesbian in half a page.
The YuixAzusa parts are easily my favourites though. The way he lays out Yuis thinking process is superb.

The most important thing in the story is, in my opinion, how much he keeps to the original characters. Other than the whole lesbian pairing part.

The characterisation in it is great, and I'm looking forward to more AzuYui.

And yeah Yui's brain working is great.

Re Homeroom - in Japan you have a homeroom and teachers come to the homeroom to teach you. Not important it's just a bit disorientating.

Oh, my bad. I thought it was just a 'come in, get registered and chill until lessons start' type of thing.
