Well drop my bags off at the hotel and go out have a proper Japanese meal ramen would be great go to a bookstore preferably has english books where I can enjoy myself or go sight seeing around tokyo and stuff. Never forget get prepared to go to a Scandal concert >_<

Well aside from the stuff that I HAVE to do, I'd probably go to one of the major shopping districts and explore! :D I've always wanted to try a maid cafe too....

One of my many Japanese friends works in a Maid Cafe in Tokyo and she sent me an e-mail the other day to say a guy had just been thrown out because he had a piece of mirror glued to the top of his shoe ( He was Japanese )
So do not try that old trick !
( In Maid Cafe's they do not wear boy's shorts ! )

and I agree with bleachnlife, the maids really should wear something like shorts underneath, there are always stories about perverts doing those sorts of things. Remember to tell your friend to wear shorts to work next time! haha

hmm.... this is a question that seems more epic when you have no clue when you'll end up in japan...

but... realistically, when i get to japan.... i am going to a hotel and dump all of my stuff. then probably going to bike around a bit (yay for free bike rentals) and then most likely go to a shopping district.

THEN when i get to tokyo... that's where the fun starts

Well... I really like to visit like zoos and parks of different countries, I'll probably try to get to one in Japan provided it isn't like crazy cold outside if I'm there during Winter.

I've always wanted to go visit Japan so this is an exciting question! .clap.
The location In Japan I would be is Tokyo,Osaka, and Kyoto.

First I will try my Japanese with the people and I will check in my hotel. (to get the full Japanese feeling, it will be a ryokan style hotel) I will go to a Japanese restaurant to try Japanese dishes :D Once my tummy is full, I will explore famous landmarks, maybe like Tokyo Tower. After that, I'll shop! Go to a bookstore and stock up on manga. I will visit a shrine or a temple to give my prayer. Maybe even attend a festival. I will ride on the train! (I have never been on one) See Scandal Live! And see the cherry blossoms too ^.^

drop by my friend's place... I believe there's a swell filipino community at fukui... IDK. go out for some walk maybe at a nearby town and start taking some pictures then shop for groceries, buy some random stuff... a gallon of yakult XD, and see what else I can find... eat... maybe go to a SCANDAL show if they're nearby, check out the japanese television and see what's on... maybe talk about life in japan in general... see how would a guy like me deal with people in a non-english speaking environment and all.

and... yah... cherryblossoms... drive to nagasaki and hiroshima bombed sites.. then to tokyo (capital city = should be a must see tourist destination)... off to osaka, to listen to some cool live music at shiroten and maybe perfom there and make some noise with my buddies, rocking the whole OCP with some OPM crap the japs won't even understand (maybe cover some Scandal, AKB48, and that rocking OST from Flame of Recca, and maybe some Asian Kung-Fu Gens) if there's an opportunity. :-D

1st thing i wanna do is check out the temples in Japan!

since my dad is a japanese chef, i won't be going to any restaurant first, instead i will go find an otaku shop! oh yeah!

eat all the foods there first
then travel Tokyo to Osaka by train. lol
then go shopping in Shibuya and Akihabara.

ill pick up the first stone that i saw at the airport ^_^
