as my mixing mentor told me "get it right at the source!" hahahah

no worries! i'm a bit perfectionist myself. so even though its a fun project i always give the best i can offer. its like making something we can look back to and can proudly say "hey, we made this!" 

as for the mix, i dont have any complaints. wrap it upppppp!!!

Compared with Haruna's pitch, I feel I am more comfortable at mimicking Mami's, her range is quite similar with my own, but you don't know how happy I am being told to be that similar to her. (I am a huge fan of her, hehehe)

I've just listened to it.

I didn't use my iTunes (actually being silly here, as I wonder if iTunes will colour the tone of the recording... hahaha), but listened to it on Garageband, with everything (EQ, compr) off.

Headphones used - audio-technica ATH-M50X.

Well, I have to say...




... the mix was just awesome. There is clarity of the tone of the instruments, individual guitars were panned out just nice, no one (singers, instrumentalists) was too loud or inaudible.

Hope I don't sound like sucking up/patting our collective backs too much here, but this sounds just superb. No complains from me.

I have to put it on my iPhone because somehow music doesn't sound good from my laptop. I listen to it at my most preferred sets, my iPhone, a headphone, with a good company of a cappuccino, hehe..

I was thinking to finish the video before the Singapore live (June 4th) so I can drop the link/ QR code/ perhaps even CD to the present box there. I am confident I can manage to finish it, but with such well done music, I want to deliver my very best for this team. Let's make this something we really proud of.

Thus I'm gonna have to request some additional shots from all of you in your spare time from different angle, if possible (yup you guys have sent me videos, so this is purely additional, but will do wonders for the video), no pressure guys xD

+ focused solely on your hands playing your instruments
   guitars and bass: fingers on fret, or right hand strumming is appreciated, especially at solo parts
   drum: if possible, I'd really love to have you playing your drums and have it recorded from a different angle (front, or the other side). 

+ clapping hands. for the bridge and ulala part

+ singing to the camera ("here we go!" line). Especially madeindar :D  No, I won't ask you to do cosplay lol, just recordings of you singing all of your parts. Is it possible to have you record your side view for the video? It'll be great if you do!

marcoatendido, kudo, and pinq are very welcome to record as well! I would greatly appreciate more cheerful expression on the video!
