I have done the "here we go" part,
and personally I think madeindar's "ulala" is unique  .clap.
Right now I keep on retaking the vocals,

Agreed on the 'giving our own touch' on the song. At the moment, the reason of the redo is because I recorded my part exactly as pinq's apart from his superb mini fills/ solos.

If you look at the Melodix! performance and the band score, HARU just played on the chorus.

What if my originally recorded verse riffs come in one bar after pinq's but on the opposite channel. It should work and you can actually check it out (see my earlier post). It gives the song a more solid guitar sound.


Then, in the two verses before the chorus, I'll play my arpeggiated riff, and do the chorus. It beats doing nothing.

thats why i want to fill haru's missing part before... if we do with a different approach in verse the song becomes off, it feels like a must to do

kudo - its good to add more arpeggios in chorus but you cant dance in the chorus if you do that hahahaha [too much focus on the chord]

I'll start on my bit tomorrow night. Listening to the song again, I think I'm gonna stick to the arpeggiated pre/chorus + strum/chorus combo. My idea of entering into the second bar to "solidify" the main guitar riff just doesn't sound right as the structure of the song is such that any new instrument added needs to be when the bass comes in, ie the pre-chorus.

In a way, it's less work for me

godly edit you got there  .wtf.  It all just sounds so amazing put together; great mix pinq!

In my perfect world, some of my fills would still have the original drum roll in the beginning (1:24, 2:38), but the edit sounds pretty good nevertheless. It sounds like a laser light show at 2:38 ^_^ but I LOVE it.
