This is scanned (on an iPhone - my old scanner doesn't work with OSX/WindowsX now) from Go!Go!GUITAR which is from the same publisher that makes the SCANDAL score books, so I kinda prefer the scores from this mag than those in GiGS magazine. Scoring is subjective (I think SCANDAL doesn't contribute to the score transcription but do give pointers on tricky bits or tone - not that I could read these additional info anyway ^^) but this looks legit.

It is just a guide and I'm not trying to hint that any of you can't figure out the riffs/chords yourselves. Anyway, hope this helps. Beats Googling.

Hey guys, I have to change my status on the drum part to tentative. I might be able to do it, but I've gotten pretty busy lately, so if anyone wants to take the drum part, go for it. It's pretty easy, haha. (I can still do the mixing for sure though)

Speaking for myself - but that's what covering a song is all about.

Gosh, if a band is to cover a SCANDAL song as it is note-for-note, I might as well listen to... SCANDAL.

Yeah I agree. I have that mentality whenever I make my own personal covers, but I feel that for this specific group, we do it by the book since our skill levels vary. I mean, slight differences in interpretation/additional riffs are totally fine, but I pretty much changed the drum instrumentation of a whole section, lol Tongue

You mean every little riff you added after that BEAUTIFUL thingawhateva that sounded like a complex Bonham triplet (sorry, not sure what that riff is called as I'm not a drummer hehe) at 1:46? It is waste not to use those for the cover, dude.

I think from the roster of guitar players - they'll manage. Cannot speak for shirokun - I've seen his bass playing in past covers and I think he'll latch on to your drumming no probs.

Out of curiosity I just looked it up on YT and yeah I agree, good job you did there Marco. You guys could totally use this for the drum tracks.

@Kudo Haha, I totally don't doubt the skill level of the other members, y'all are fantastic ^_^ but ehhh, I'll give it more thought. I mean, my track and video would already be done if we went through with it.

Gosh i would have liked to do haru part :v I practiced singing this from the moment it was decided you would do this song (I did the same with departure) but my voice is just horrible (Even tho some people say its not true I think they just say that to be nice lolz) :v Being a guy prolly dont help at singing SCANDAL songs too :v Guess im just not made for that xD

Probably just an adding riffs type of thing. It would be difficult to make a decent cover in a different groove if we're not on the same wavelength, especially since this is an international cover group Sad

but yeah the idea does seem pretty fun!

Anything is possible, haha! I did Mami's vocals in Departure, although I played it safe because they were harmony and it wouldn't have sounded different if it was a guy or a girl in my opinion (as long as you sing in the same octave) Tongue

Lead vocals would definitely be a challenge for a guy singing a Scandal cover though.

Yeah I saw you did Mami part in Departure ^^ You sing really well. I dont XD My breathing is pretty bad and my voice is pretty deep and low. I dont think I can reach even close of the same octave lolz
