Question. I'm looking into booking my stuff and was curious are the SH members attending planning to conquer a single hotel? I remember reading in the other post that a few participating in the marathon are staying at a hotel together. It would be nice for us to all be close so we can build the hype!

As someone that has seen them live 11 times and met them twice, I have to say that this tour gives fans never before offered, unheard of access to the band. If you are a SCANDAL fan, this is a huge opportunity that should not be missed. (When else can you get "lei'd" by SCANDAL? haha)

When replying to this thread, please be mindful and realistic of the financial and time costs of travel. We need a fairly accurate headcount otherwise this tour isn't going to happen.

I'd be willing to, but considering I won't have to fly around and grab a hotel, would this change anything? I'd still pay $400 if needed though.

This is not free for anyone; you MUST pay the $400 in order to participate in these events. The fee solely applies to the tour and does not include flight or hotel, so it does not matter if you live in Hawaii or are coming in from somewhere else. You must pay for the tour, no matter what.

I've been thinking about going to the concert for a while, but this opportunity pushes it over the edge for me.

To all those who live in Hawaii and want to join the Fan Meeting Tour:

Even though you may live in Hawaii, you MUST pay the required fee in order to participate in the Fan Meeting Tour. You will not be able to participate at all if you do not sign up and do not pay for it. That applies to every single person who wants to participate in it. No exceptions whatsoever. It's technically free for every person to go to the Sunset On the Beach concert after the Ekiden on June 1st, but you must sign up AND pay for the Fan Meeting Tour if you wish to partake in what it offers.

H.I.S. has just told me that outside of those in Japan, they are currently accepting reservations from US residents ONLY right now. But don't fret! They are now looking into adding those interested who are from other countries. The more that people from other countries express interest, the more likely it will happen. If they do allow it, please be advised that the package rate will probably be different from the one I mentioned in my first post of this thread, since that price currently applies to US residents only.

As far as I can tell, there seem to be 2 people interested so far that are outside of the US. If you don't have your country listed in your SH profile, please make sure to let me know which country you'll be coming from if it's not the US.

Also, if this applies to you, please make sure to answer this:

Will you be bringing anyone else along with you? If so, how many people? Are they going to join the tour as well? Please be advised that every single person MUST pay the fee in order to participate.

I'm most likely going to bring one other person and have them join me on the tour because I wouldn't want to leave them alone in a place they're not familiar with. Would they have to pay the fee as well though?

Yes, every single person must pay in order to participate.

Oh no, say it aint so. I'll probably have to fly solo in that case but I'll try to buddy up with someone on the tour!

What's the deadline on this? I'd really love to go, but as a student, not easy to afford .whiteflag. 
So I'd have to do a lot of planing, don't wanna say yes to something right now, I in the end might not be able to afford.

Officially, it's TBA, but you will most likely have to pay H.I.S. directly. Like I said, we are first trying to see how many interested people there are. I will definitely post any further updates.

Canada! Since it's not far from the US, I hope the fee will be pretty much the same.

I'll be coming to Hawaii with my family and treating it as a little summer vacation. So I will be bringing one other person onto the tour.

Alright after much thought...I AM GOING. I really can't afford to miss this possible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet all of you and above all, a close encounter with favorite band. Time to work extra extra overtime the next two months LOL  .wew.

Uhh..I'm trying to contact a fellow SH member (GeoFreak) who lives closeby as we speak. So I might come with two. And yes, he just posted that he's going to the tour.
