I will be in Hawaii from May 30th to June 3rd but I may have business to attend to after the SCANDAL festivities. It is as thoseguiltyeyes says perhaps the 31st would be best since we need to sign in anyway and it's essentially our free day too. 

Also if anyone is looking to share a hotel I reserved a room at the Aston at the Waikiki Banyan from May 30th to June 3rd. PM me if you are interested.

I get there the 29th! If anyone is arriving prior to the 31st and wants to hang out just hit me up on facebook to talk about it! We can party hard! The official meet will probably have to be the 31st since everyone is sure to be there to sign up!

I get there on the 29th at around 11am and have no clue what to do so would definitely not mind some company!  And feel free to add me on facebook as well!

I've been wondering something. If this fan meeting tour was originally create for japanese people. Does it mean that non japanese speakers like many fans in here will be a little language handicapped at this event?

Good point...maybe some of us here are proficient at Japanese translation can throw us a bone once a while...?? TGE?!

lol well now that it is open to everyone, I think the chances of there being a hired Japanese-English translator(s) are pretty high. I could ask H.I.S. and see if that would be true, if you guys are that curious.

I do know a bit of japanese from japanese class but having a translator would be much appreciated.

Darn, I was really hoping to be able to bring back some candid pictures and videos aha Even watching sucky videos would help relive the moment in the future >_< I guess the group photo will do (goes on a diet right this minute). 

I would have thought that since this is a fan meeting with all these things going on, we'd also get a little fan sign corner. Do you think well be able to get their autographs as well?

Well, honestly, I'm only 16 (going on 17 - yeah yeah spoiled brat aha..) so I'm hoping there are more people around my age. I was kind of doubting it since to travel you'd need money or family so~ yeah, that's mostly why I'm nervous ^^;

There's no such thing as an "Official SCANDAL Item Giveaway" being offered. To be precise, it says on the H.I.S. Japan site that there is an "Official Goods Present," which is translated to "Official SCANDAL Merchandise" on H.I.S. Hawaii's site. That's all the info we have on it, but if I had to guess I'd say we might get a special t-shirt, or a poster, or the like. I suppose there is a possibility that it could be signed, but I don't think we'll know until we actually get this said present/merch.

As for autographs, we have not yet been promised that since it isn't one of the perks officially listed.

And wow, you're pretty young, Rachel! haha. I believe the majority of us going are around SCANDAL's ages (early to mid 20s), but don't worry; you won't be treated any differently!

We're planning to arrange a SoCal meet-up on Saturday April 26th (location is still TBA, but it'll probably be Little Tokyo), so you and anyone else around here are welcome to come out! I'll be sending an e-mail with more details soon.

So if i am reading this correct we also get to go to the Ekiden music festival and see them play live there if we sign up for the tour? This this seems to be well established, and I was a little nervous at first until i got a conformation e-mail from the corporations. It seems pretty genuine now, does anyone have a plan to greet them at the air port? I can make signs for them to read in Japanese, because I heard they aren't too skilled at English. Haha does anyone remember the game show when Tomomi says "PARRI" instead of "PARTY". She didn't even say it right in Japanese Pirate Tomomi!

The music festival part of the Ekiden is technically free, but since we're part of the Fan Meeting Tour we get preferred entry ahead of those who are seeing it for free.

And this whole tour is 100% genuine--it's run by a well-established Japanese-based travel company with locations worldwide. My friends and I had been fighting tooth and nail for non-Japan residents to get into this tour ever since it was first announced, and I'm glad our efforts paid off!

And we don't know yet when they plan on arriving in Hawaii (I can try to find out if possible), so we don't have any concrete plans for the airport greeting yet. My friends and I will be making a giant banner like how we did 3 years ago when the band was last in the US, and everyone can sign it when they get a chance to.

Wow that is really cool, I love all the detail. If I may make a suggestion, I think the new banner should use the word women instead of girls, just out of respect. But that is just me, I used to play in a band with girls younger and it sometimes got on my nerves when I was called a girl. Again, I am not trying to bash anyone it was just a suggestion. I hope everyone understands. I really love what everyone does here and I look forward to meeting new friends.

They are still referred to as a "girl band" in Japan so it wouldn't be wrong to call them "girls," but we're not going to be including anything like that on the new banner.

We'll also probably be doing a project as well, maybe another fan letter one, but we haven't officially decided on exactly what yet. I'll let everyone know once we figure it out.

A fan letter would be cool. I have never seen them live before this would be my first time, But I know two songs on guitar I can play and I know mostly all their song lyrics. My favorite song is SCANDAL BABY<3

We will try to, yes; but, as I said before in a previous post, we still do not know exactly when they will be arriving. I will try to find out if possible.
