――For 『Runners high』, in what kind of feeling did you perform the lyrics and express yourselves?

HARUNA: We wrote the lyrics around January-February of this year (she means 2013, as this interview was conducted then), the period when we were preparing for our live at Osaka-Jo Hall, our goal since our formation, in March. As we were heading towards our OJH live we had feelings of 「Our dream is coming true!」 on one side, and on the other we were attacked by an baseless anxiousness of  「What should we do after our dream comes true………」……. During such, we drew up these lyrics because we wanted to inspire ourselves somehow. All kinds of people have all kinds of dreams; among that, we think that in this world there are more things that you're anxious about, so we want you to listen to it if you're at a loss over something.

――Are there any parts in the lyrics that one should pay attention to?

HARUNA: There's one in the second half of the chorus: 「Kono saka wo nobotte mieru keshiki ga gooru teepu de sutaato rain sa (I climb this hill and see the goal tape at the starting line)」. If you don't try standing at the goal, you won't see the view. You're doing many things while aiming for the top (goal), and if you stand there you'll be able to see the new view. If you don't stand there, you won't be able to see it. You must not stop; what's important is to keep running.

Ah yeah thanks a lot, it's in the OJH era and their future. Well even better then I think I read it before but didn't remember exactly ^^

So I'm thinking after reading it: "A limit is just another starting line". A goal just as well is another starting line to a bigger goal. I'm excited to see what SCANDAL can and will achieve in the near future. And Ono-san is indeed a leader, I can see her iron will and spirit in the lyrics.

When I listened and watched the live PV of this song, the one wherein they're wearing all white, I immediately liked it. I especially like the back-up voice of Mami in this, with that li'l bit of effects. But that moment when you get to know the meaning of the song, wow,  just wow. 

I'll definitely rip this part once this hell month is over:
