I'm really excited! That would mean that we're either getting both days(not likely but technically). If you think about it, we're getting the broadcast and then there's a DVD of today. Or maybe they're doing what I mentioned before and comparing the days, but either way, this is great news!   But let me not get ahead of myself. There's still much to find out. .ehem.

OK, just finished going through this entire thread in one go....
Trying to keep my thoughts together right now...Heh, this place is really big, huh....

Anyway, I understand the feeling of both sides regarding the JouHa live.  Yes, I would've loved to see the 360 effect for myself in the comfort of my home, but I respect the decision to keep it private.  If they did record it they could've added all sorts of effects, like spinning around the stage and whatnot, but I won't go there.  For all I know, they could keep any footage in storage until the time is right.

I read the tweet about Tomomi and Mami watching the YokoAri Day 1 live.  While I'm really hoping it'll mean we'll get an eventual 2 Days DVD/BD release, similar the ZONE's 2 Days at the Akasaka BLITZ, I'm getting the feeling that it's only for reviewing the performance, like waning_moon said.  They do need to see if any improvement need to be made for tonight's live, after all.

That said, I'm praying SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE gets performed live again...!

Ah, by the way, the flower arrangement looks great!  I wish I had remembered about it and contributed too.

Oh they will surely use that footage tonight/tomorrow morning to see what was good or could be improved for the TV live, that's for sure. But the fact that it exists can at least gives us some crazy hope (Double YokoAri DVD with 40 songs xD) ^^

The most important is that tomorrow we will get a video anyway, so it's not like 360° were we could be disappointed. In the end with that footage information we are not sure what they will do but even if we "just" get the DVD from Day 2 it's already awesome!!

Can't wait until we get the set list from tomorrow, so much tension to see if SITH will be in the list or not  .rage.  If it's not I might throw my computer out of the room honestly xD

That's right. For me, is very difficult to go to a SCANDAL's Live. So, DVDs of live performances are the most important thing for me. It's a chance of feel the emotion of live performance.

judging from the concerts they had in SG, i only see 1-2 songs on the second day. moreover, the girls ill need to take whole lot more of rehearsals if they are to generate different setlist.

that being said, if there are whole new songs, i wouldn't be surprised.

let's hope some live stream later or sth.

They did change 5 songs from the OJH set list, so I wouldn't be surprised if they change about 5 songs again for the second day.

I think they will change less songs then 5, because they did said about setlist being very different between OJH and Yokoari but they didn't said that about the Yokoari Day 1 & 2

Yes I think the same as TGE now but we will see. It's so fun to speculate and hope then be afraid lol

I think they decided on a core list of 10 and then switch 5 and 5 again so that that play 30 different songs and make each arena special without having to rehearse 50 songs ^^

But again anything is possible, maybe they will change 10 songs because they know this will be on TV/DVD so they have a special set list.

The thing is, some songs were already on the OJH 2013 and Budokan setlist and are in the DVDs. For example songs like LOVE SURVIVE, SCANDAL BABY, DOLL, ESY!, SPACE RANGER or Shoujo S were already on these 2 last DVDs. So the question is.................. do they really want to put them again on it? 3 times in a row?!

Are they thinking that they need these core songs in a SCANDAL DVD even if they have now over 100 songs in their discography?

We will see =P

I would have a huge smile and be very very happy to see them perform DOLL again for example but is it really necessary when that song is on the 2 previous DVD (4 actually but just taking about OJH13 and Budokan) ^^? Give me METRONOME, Weather Report, etc =P

Anyway, the answer will come soon and because I love ALL their songs I will be in heaven no matter what! But a few songs could make me even more happy xD

Well, it isn't just about the DVD - it's mostly about the fans who are actually there. The DVD is just to capture that. The fans who are there, a lot of whom probably have never seen them live before (though it's true that a lot of others have), will be really disappointed if they don't get to see the band play their most famous songs just because they're already on other DVD's. I would be seriously bummed if it was my first Scandal show and they didn't play DOLL or SCANDAL BABY. (Or Shoujo S, or Taiyou to Kimi ga Egaku STORY, or a number of their other staples.)

It's different to see it on a DVD vs. really being there and seeing them play it. Even if you've seen it on a DVD, you still want to see them play it in person.

But these are discussions bands always have when coming up with a set list, and especially one they know will be filmed. It's definitely a balancing act between giving people enough that's new or surprising while still satisfying demands that they play the most popular songs.

But it's also fun to see the evolution of songs like these over the years. I'm always interested to see new performances of songs like DOLL to see how they play them now, even though I've seen them play that song many times before. Many performances are different, and some are better or worse. So I think there are many reasons for them to continue playing their most popular songs, while of course changing it up and mixing in different ones with the rest of the set.

Regarding the setlist....It's kind of the balance about doing lives in a band. Since these are special and big lives they most likely want to reach as many fans (fans that like old songs and the ones that like new songs....or like me that like em all) and having into acount their own feellings about the songs when they write them and how they want to perform live.

All in all it's a tough decision making the setlist...but if you are actually there at the liv you just don't care if they did or didn't play a song, you just enjoy the great moment...at least that's how it's been for me with other bands.

In terms of making a DVD...I wouldn't mind a mix of OsakaJo and YokoAri footage....although I'm not sure if such thing would be too much trouble

Reading different comments and thoughts of you guys, makes me more excited xD Im just afraid that they will leave the setlist same or change only one or two songs in it which will really dissappoint me T.T they have more than 100 songs where i guess half of them are nee so it mustnt be hard to choose new once for the second day. The choice is huge so i guess they can surprise us because of adding absolutely different songs that we dont expect to hear like KOSHI TANTAN, SPARKLING, APPLETACHI NO DENGON, QAT and etc. Or they can leave the same setlist.
