Well I listen to almost everything. Just to name a couple genres I listen to is "American" Rock, J-rock, K-pop, Hip-Hop/Rap, "American" Pop and even Dubstep! There's only like two genres that I dislike which would be Visual Kei and J-Pop, with the exception of Perfume and Girls' Generation's Japanese releases for J-Pop outside of that nothing else for J-Pop and Visual Kei I just can't stand it you can say I hate it. Recently I've just been on rotation between "American" Pop and K-Pop and a lil' bit of J-Rock every now and then lol.

Like, for the rainy season, you tend to listen to slower songs, than when it is summer, you'd listen to upbeat, in-your-face, anthemic songs? Or maybe it's just me..
@Topic I noticed most of you don't listen much to hip-hop. Haha. And a lot listen to metal. As for me, though, at first I listened to emo music (IT WAS A PHASE OKAY) then more and more into other genres. I was pressured to listen to hip-hop music when it was a "trend" in my school. Not saying that I wouldn't have started listen to it if it wasn't popular, there are a lot of good hip-hop records if you take time to listen to it. But now, as I can formulate my own critique to what I listen to, I tend to listen to a wide array of genres. As of the moment, I listen to more of a "garage" sound, lo-fi recordings of music.

Nearly everything. My music taste varies from Asian pop to Finnish heavy metal to movie scores. I'm still actually kind of picky, and I can't stand for example Finnish popular music (it's pure crap, trust me).

I don't have a "favourite genre of music", I like bands from many styles and many genres, but also dislike other bands from those genres XD neer liked an artist "because it's X genre".

Agreed^^ Finnish heavy metal bands are pure awesomeness (Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, HIM... they're just so great).

I usually listen to JPop, KPop, okay gonna make it as Pop.  .sweat. 
I also listen to cover songs, for they are awesome too.
I also listened to Praise and Worship songs.

I was a fan of Rock, Metal and some Screamo (if that genre exists) but now my ear hurts when I listened to them. (maybe because I listened to them a lot of times way back)

I usually listen to punk, rock, alternative, got, etc.. anything really with nice guitar riffs..OPM as well. I also listen to some RNB, but really just a few songs... anyone heard of D_drive!? they are also JRock.. you might wanna check them out as well..

I usually listen to anything that interests me! Like, I vary from genre to genre!  Mainly, I listen to rock, or pop-rock from different decades/countries! But my favorite type of music is rap! Ahaha I also grew up around a lot of reggae, soca, jazz, and Indian music!  .smile.

KPOP,JPOP and usually POP :D sometimes rock too ...

way back my background is hihop & rnb. in my highschool it's OPM. then Jpop, then rock & alternative, then pop (incl. kpop). now I'm into singer-songwriter like songs (Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, etc), classics, and not-so-indie artists in UK :D

I used to listen some solemn songs, techno with a twist of strings, electro pop with some dark twist and some heavy metal... Sometimes, I listen to alternative rock, but I prefer electro pop and folk pop.
Scandal and Supercell were my reasons why I listened to J-rock, and I'm not gonna regret that, they're all awesome!.love.

I like J-rock (SCANDAL, Yui, 7!!, etc), J-pop (Miku, KPP, Ayu, etc), I also like heavy metal, but I listen to non-japanese heavy metal (Metallica, Megadeth, BfmV, etc).
