I was wondering if you guys would be willing to consider a news archive.

Basically a place for topics that aren't really news anymore, like past releases.
Because sometimes users post in old topics and the new and relevant topic get pushed down. I don't think the topics should be locked or anything because a lot of people still like to give their input on a certain release/event etc.

I don't think it's much of a problem, I just though I'd mention it.

I think this would be a good idea. I personally don't like when old topics are brought up again, especially for random reasons such as commenting that you like a certain song on said release. One of the admins would have to implement this, though.

Or rather, let the new topics stay on top and not be pushed down even if others post on old topics.

Well, we already have that sort of implemented in the Official Release forum. The newest SCANDAL releases are made into stickies from the time they're announced until a while after they're released/the next official release is announced. After that they're turned into normal topics.

I think having an archive would be good since we don't implement the stickies in every forum, as SCANDAL's official releases are the most important/relevant. So, let's say someone wants to look up the latest news on SCANDAL. If some people recently replied to several very old topics such as news about them from 2010, they're probably going to have a hard time finding the threads/info they want. If the archive exists, we can put the older topics in it so that people can find the newer ones easier.
