I pretty much feel the same. Ai is my last favorite member from the good old days. I like some of the other girls, but I'm not a big enough fan of them to keep me in the group once she's gone. Miki Fujimoto is/was one of my all time favorite idols, when she left my interest dwindled. Some of H!P's other groups are still great. I love me some Airi! She's so dorky/cute!
Well, guys, it's finally about to happen. I'm really a big supporter of Ai-chan. Now that she'll be graduating, I really have no idea where love for Morning Musume will go to. However, rest assured, I'll still be following them coz i really find the 9th gen really interesting. Especially Sayashi Riho!!! All the best to Ai-Chan in the future! .waaa.

i don't really remember the first time i knew & heard their song, somewhere when i was
around 13 or 14 years old?(my age near to quarter century lol),and now i'm still lovin' it.
the only thing that i cannot accept(or should i said 'never likes') is the graduation. :stress:

MoMusu was the first J-pop music I have ever heard. I listened to them back in 2000, when I was around 7 years old. My dad played the 1st generation MoMusu CD all the time. I didn't even know it was morning musume. Love Machine and Happy Summer Wedding were probably the songs I liked the most at that time. After that about 2 years, my dad started playing different music, so I haven't heard them in forever. Recently, I started listening to Melon Kinembi, without knowing that they were a part of Morning Musume. I haven't listened to anything after 1st Gen Momusu though.

Just like Acchan in AKB I think she has had enough of being an idol and wants to move on.
I still think the new generation of Morning Musume show a lot of promise.
You should definitly watch Sato Masaki, Haruka Kudo ( Haru-boy...hehe ) and the new girl

I have been hearing their name for quite a long time now but it is just recent that I started checking them out, especially when I encountered upon Michishige Sayumi not too long ago, hehe, she is super kawaii!. It is kinda' sad that Reina is leaving just when I'm starting to get into them. Now that Sayumi is gonna be the new leader, I'm hoping to see more of what they're gonna do, (while I look up their previous works!) :D

Yeah it makes me sad too that I only recently got into Morning Musume.
Some of the old members were amazing, but you can still hear them on Youtube.

I only discovered them a couple of months ago.
I would've liked to have followed them back in all the other gens. Having said that, the current gen is pretty interesting too! .clap.
