That was one of those stop breathing moments but instead of following with relief, it was as if the game ended there - after Kucherov leaving the game after one shift earlier - knew it was going to be a rough night. 

Either way, the series was great, good clean, end to end hockey.

Has been an interesting season so far - both the Ducks and Bolts seem to be struggling a little.

This season has been a bit of roller coaster for the Eastern conference.

The Eastern conference log jam is starting to separate a little - at one stage you can almost enter one game as third in the east and come out of it almost missing a playoff spot.

Can't believe how dominating the Caps have been this season too.

We all know that Montreal was reliant on Price to some degree but I wasn't sure anyone expected the magnitude of their collapse with his extended injury. From almost dead lock into a deep playoff run to now sellers at the trade deadline.

Interesting how all the Western powerhouses are at the top of the standings as predicted at the start of the season.

But what about the Blackhawks acquisitions for next to nothing, whilst making their already potent team even more dangerous.

More interesting times ahead as the season winds down and teams gears up for the playoff push.

Oh, one final thing, does anyone else have NHL.tv and think Gamecentre Live was better?

No Canadian teams this playoffs may have turned some interest away but it is the playoffs!!!!

I haven't really had the time to follow how the other games actually went but the Tampa Vs Detroit games are getting real feisty and interesting to watch.

Hope refs pick up their game in the next one too. A lot of missed and crap calls for both sides - constantly letting things go or making stuff up because they made a bad call previously is never a good move for either team.

Auston Matthews, baby! Then we're going to sign Stamkos to a nice cheap deal this off-season, and then sign Tavares next year for another cheap deal. Then Connor McDavid will not resign with the Oilers the year after that and come to Toronto. It's literally the perfect plan to get stacked at centre.

Time to bandwagon on my hometown Sharks baby! After years of choking in the off-season, we finally made it to the Cup! I'm still in shock, lol.
