RINA talks about drum practice and doing covers. Also as some of us here will know, she has a column in GiGS magazine. Here RINA announces that her column in next month's edition will be the last one. Many things are ending... First Munasawagi no AfterSchool and now RINA's GiGS column. So sad...

Today,
I was playing drums.
My personal practice set.
I'm always doing it like this.
Recently,
I realized again the importance and greatness of doing covers.*
Fill material and ideas for patterns increased as expected
It's interesting to know my own tastes.
When I am able to do original songs
Maybe I'll greatly reduce doing covers but the truth is its probably really important.
Then, therefore,
I want to play drums in a way others will want to do covers of.
To want to try play guitar,
To want to try to sing,
To want to try play drums,
Songs from such a band, it's cool and good.
The regular column in GiGs、
Until now as well various introductions have been done
by SCANDAL RINA's DBC. **
So it is.
Finally,
I feel that finding my own tastes is most successful and realistic.
The more you do it
from the instrument that you can infinitely improve on, the more things you want to do, things you can't do increases.
Myself as well, am still learning.
Whatever it is, certainly.
Let's try our best together.
By the way that column,
The next edition is the last one.
I'm glad if you will enjoy it until the end.
Again, I will write in more detail when it goes on sale.
Because the last one has been made into a special version
Next month as well, will be interesting.
Tomorrow too let's improve vigorously.
RINA
Notes:-
* The word she uses is "copy" which actually means many things in Japanese (it's a common loan word) but from the context of the blog entry she probably means doing drum covers.
** I have no idea what this "DBC" is. Does anyone here read GiGS?
As usual any help with anything here is greatly appreciated. This blog entry was murderously difficult for a Japanese language noob like myself but I think I nailed most of it (I hope!). A labour of love indeed.
Thanks for watching! Ijou macdyne73 deshita. Baibaiiii!
