That seems a long time.
EMS from Tokyo to the UK only takes 4 days !

@ Master Miller: Agreed... Fastest EMS time for me was 3 days, but you figure that the package arrives in LAX (for me at least, Los Angeles International Airport) and customs is right there so processing time is more or less the same day... Then shipping takes the next day to reach my area...

1-2 day in transit via Japan
1-2 days for customs
1-2 days in delivery

So basically under a week... Funny though, I got scolded by the postman the other day (we're pretty close since I bust his balls all the time during his deliveries) because I use EMS and he told me to use SAL instead since it's cheaper, comes off the same flight and delivered in the same manner (just without tracking)... The only difference is processing time (difference by a few hours... or so he says) because EMS is sorted and prioritized above everything else (in it's class)...

Whatever you do though, just pay the extra cost for EMS/SAL and don't cheapen out for surface mail... I tried it a month ago (4/15) on a jacket I bought from Japan and I'm still waiting on it... All the while the other orders just keep on rolling in... HA HA!

For Mr. Polygon, I think 16 days was the entire process from start to finish, so it couldn't have just been the EMS that took up all the time...

I have had an account with CDJapan now for many years and trust them 100%.
The only time my orders have taken longer has been down to UK Customs.
Singles are fine, but sets and DVD's can take the value over the limit and they then hold the order while they think about sending you a letter !
To be fair once you have paid H.M.Customs by card they do deliver it the next day.

you are talking about CDJapan now, which sells different things from the international store, and probably does things differently from them as well. remember the original topic was about how slow shipping from the international store was, not CDJapan.

for some reason the international store ships way slower than CDJapan does, so i believe it's got something to do with the supplier or the store itself. CDJapan normally delivers within 5 working days from order date, but my order from this store took more 2 weeks to deliver. it also doesn't help that the only email they sent is the one when you place the order. i got fed up with them after 2 weeks, so i sent them an email and it arrived the next day.

Just got my order in today, would have gotten it yesterday but I wasn't at home at the time.

Only 8 days after I ordered it which ain't too bad. I didn't think that I would get it this soon.

Good thing that I only ordered shirts though cause the box was crushed.

The item price is often cheaper and it's cheaper in that you don't have to pay service fees, only the international shipping.

I cant buy the goods from this store because they don't allow "alphanumeric" characters in my address. Cant do anything about it since i cant just remove the " / " from my address. Emailed them and yet no response.

I placed an order last April 30, I received and email for the confirmation but up to this point I haven't receive an update if it is already shipped. Maybe because I order a number of item?

I made a post about my experience with them last year. If all is still the same they don't send shipping emails and they take a hell long time to send out their stuffs, so you gotta be patient

 yeah and it happened at the same time Scandals official Youtube page became region locked blocking America...the only way I can get to it is via using a proxy from another country.
