I am contemplating on bring my laptop along, depending on what hotel we stay only. I forsee us taking LOTS of pictures and require a dumping point.

It depends on your budget and what hotel we use, but what I've done in the past is buy a really cheap netbook to use for traveling. It's small/light and because it's cheap I'm not worried if it gets damaged in my bag or stolen.

My budget will be as much as possible, I rather bring more then bring less. No need to spend them all either.
Netbook is something like an eepc?

Yeah, this is the one that I picked up cheap last year. I think it was around $250 USD. It's great for traveling because it's so small it packs easy, gets good battery life and being cheap I'm not always worrying about what happens to it Happy

now i really need to figure out a way for me to go there and to get the money..all this talk is very tempting .hora. btw, cant we jux take photos with the iphone and upload it to fb/twitter/email then no need for extra baggage? unless u want very high quality photos .picture.

@320x200 hmm, that would be additional cost to this trip if I am to buy that and bring it along. I am already somewhat used to lugging my huge laptop with me whenever I leave for another country but, as you said.. it will fully depend on the hotel.

@tempostorm. OF COURSE HIGH RES! I will not settle for any less! I believe some of us will agree on that too.

Pokemon sure sounds like a good idea, only prob is that it's at most 4 people a time... PSP has too many variety of games, I feel the best is still bringing a simple set of cards, best would be mono deal

Prices are less then 100(SGD) a day per person. This is just a reserach, what do you guys think?

The sakura hotel seems like a good option. Having the whole floor means more bonding between the members who are going for the trip.
