what I notice about this album is that they are moving into a more catchy pop rock arrangement.

much much more attractive bass lines and drum fills. what used to be very guitar-riffs-dominant songs, this time it seems every instruments are all in "attack mode" to borrow @alrick13's words .wow. 

I used to daydream if FLiP had Tomomi's bass lines, I would sell my soul for that band! but now I take everything baacckk, Sayaakaaa I love youuu.


@Rararata: hope yours come soon, it's much more awesome when listened to as a whole. I didn't fall in love with any of the songs just by listening to the snippets.

the PV in my opinion is a little disturbing and sensual I wonder if this was aired in prime time by music shows in Japan. I did feel that sooner or later they will release something like this since most "more purely rock" oriented girls do use dark sensual themes in some of their music videos but I'm taken aback on the magnitude of sensuality in this one.... anyway still loving them and their music

I agree about the hair.

I stayed with the stream till the end, 4 hoursssss, put up with the ignorant, racist, disrespectful, and homophobic comment section of that livestream full of LP, metallica, and muse fans, whining about "gay and crappy" music they cannot appreciate.

Yeah the first thing I do when watching streams is usually disabling the chat... .wtf. 
 
I only watched about an hour and they hardly showed any Japanese acts at all!? .hmmm.

I'm not sure whether they showed Osaka stuff aswell, but since it was advertised as Tokyo & Osaka I'd expect footage from both venues. oh well...

I think 50% of the stream was Japanese act, opened by miku, there's kishi bashi, amiaya, can't remember the rest :D

there was also scandal, but only their satisfaction performance. I already saw the HD + wowow interview version from tumblr so I just skipped that.


I just did some shopping at amazon.co.jp for FLiP's stuff. had to use some forwarding service for them, gonna be so broke...

On another note, anyone want to redo the video? FLiP tribute / footage compilation of some sort.

I have been SO conflicted since the video came out (no pun intended), between wanting to share the video to my friends, but:
1. video contains somewhat adult content
2. (this was before they release the english version) Japan only distribution from SMEJ
3. the biggest bone I want to pick is: I DON'T EVEN FIND THE MODELS ATTRACTIVE!

I don't know, can't quite put my finger on it, but the video didn't come across as hot for me, rather tacky. Maybe it's the angles, or the colors, or just how the models act! they look silly IMO.

What do you guys think? would you consider it hot?

While I agree about the somewhat explicit nature of the PV it doesn't bother me at all.

In my opinion they managed to visualize the lyrics in an accurate way.

From the way they talked about the PV in the ustream session it seemed like they are quite aware of its volatile nature but have envisioned it like this.

The livestream has ended. They released a music video for Raspberry Rhapsody. I hope it'll soon be on their Youtube Channel. They also played some songs by request: It's a Lie, ニル・アドミラリ, and another one, sorry I can't remember which song.

I think the songs requested are taken into consideration to be played on the final tour next November.

Waaa thank you, so it's online already, yattaaa. So glad to see it in high quality, the ustream was in such low quality.

YEsss they did perform the songs, which was a bit funny when they performed It's a Lie, perhaps they haven't played it in quite some time, Sachiko forgot more than half of the verse lyric, and just went la la ra ra na na and laughing. The instruments were all great though. Really enjoyed Yuumi's tight energetic playing.
