Hi guys, I'm new here .smile.  I just bought some of FLiP's CDs last month, and I love them

I'm still missing XX Emotion Limited Edtion .whiteflag.  

FLiP rocks. Hope they get more and more popular .upwalk.

@ cxq: Do you mean the dvd for "Toxicity"?  That's just a digest of some backstage footage of some lives and such.  What Sagami posted is totally seperate from that.

@ M.Elizabeth: Sweet! Your first post was here from FLiP. HA HA! Yeah FLiP is pretty bomb. I think they're big enough in their own sense because they're not glam'd up like the poppy rock groups or idols but they do perform at a lot of major events.  I'd prefer them to keep their style and not conform to the trends but I'll follow them regardless at this point. v^^

No, I meant the upcoming Live DVD to be released for the LT live tour.

They have been promoting the upcoming live DVD and previewing some live performances at Ebisu LiquidRoom (off the DVD, cmiiw) on the latest 2 ustream events, and I also caught a one-hour TV special on BS Fuji, where they played the same live performances at Ebisu LiquidRoom.

wondering if there's a better way to make a single resource center for all FLiP related video?

they all seem to be scattered, but perhaps that's just because I don't really know where to find them, and there's the language barrier to browse the japanese music news sites.

^ Oh nice!!! I've been so focused on things around the house that I didn't get the chance to catch those ustreams.  A full live DVD would be pretty nice right about now.

It's pretty hard to find their personal live shows online if it's at a small local venue since not a lot of them are recorded (professionally or just not released).  But if you see that they're scheduled for a big show (Festivals, live events, etc.), you can bet that big TV stations will air it in conjunction with other artists.

You can always start your own youtube channel and re-upload whatever you find onto there?  FLiP has an official fan club but as far as a direct source that releases their lives, I haven't been able to find one either.  

Sagami may be the best person to answer that one.

cxq: I actually bought "Haha Kara Umareta Hinekure no Uta" and "Kanshou Chuudoku" on amazon JP (sold and ship by amazon JP). I looked at XX Emotion too but it was only being sold by some Japanese guys (fullfilled by amazon JP though). I thought about using FromJapan or Noppin (deputy service) but I just didn't feel like doing it .wew.


and yeah, FLiP is about to release their 1st LIVE DVD .rich.
I guess Sagami-san would be going to Shibuya-AX on Sunday .uhuh.

The latest blog entry sounds like one can get the live dvd, but only this weekend. Sadly I have no clue where they sell it...  .waaa.  Any ideas?

From what I understand, it's basically only available locally, perhaps directly from FLiP in some way.  So us non-Japanese fans can't get it unless we're over there or we have a guy to get it for us.

Which is really unfortunate.  I think they should do some kind of online release, like YouTube or something, if a physical release is going to be so limited.  There isn't really any benefit to what they're doing.

The band is quite interesting. Their music is pretty raw. Sounds like punk metal to me. They're beautiful too!

Today FLiP have released the MV for their upcoming Single 「GIRL.」 !!! .wow.

I like it, but I kind of prefer their heavier songs (e.g. カミングアウト) .sweat.

I never DL anything. Can't help you there.
But what I can help you with is a place to buy the LoveToxicity concert DVD.
you can buy it from CDJapan. they finally have it on that website, i bought it earlier this month. It's a great dvd. It is expensive, and they will only ship it ems. plus it will take 2-4 weeks to ship.

FLiP is catching up to Scandal in my Heart for #1. The LoveToxicity is awesome from Sachiko's voice to her lyrics, to the sound of all the verse, and chorus. It just ROCKS! that being said, i'm not a big fan of the Girls single, they changed to pop. it's not bad. I like it, its slowly warming up to me. Any news on a FLiP 4th album?
