I'm three episodes into Orange Marmalade; not sure if I'm going to watch the rest. I've never been terribly interested in period stuff, and my understanding is the next several episodes are 17th century in time frame. I did like those three beginning episodes, though.

Heheh~ Yeah. Not many people are interested in those Dynasty Times. Give it a try. You'll find out if it still interests you or not.

I started watching Neighbourhood Hero (bc of Yuri of course :v) and well I can't say much since I've only watched the first episode but it seems pretty cool. It IS my first drama (ever) so I still have to get used to the fact that dramas are over dramatic -_-
.love.

Mainstream ArtistI've gotten into K-Dramas this year because I'm having trouble finding new J-dramas I want to watch that have subtitles for them. K-Dramas are a bit more popular, so they are easier to find with subtitles.
Right now, I'm watching Doctors with Park Shin-Hye. Four episodes in, and it's really good. It may end up being just as good as Descendants of the Sun, which would be very high praise. Seriously, if Song Joong-Ki and Park Shin-Hye did a drama as the leading couple, I think it would get 40% viewer ratings in South Korea.
I'm also finishing up with Beautiful Gong-Shim, which is pretty darn solid. I really like the lead characters.
I finished Entertainers last week, which was exceptional. Hyeri was super adorable in that one.
Lastly, I finished up Another Oh Hae-Young this week, and I have mixed feelings about it. A lot of the characters had elements that were unsympathetic. The most sympathetic characters in the whole series were the supporting actor and actress who got screwed by everyone (including by the leading man).

Bit of a bump, but I am finding Korean dramas these days really well made and interesting.
These are my faves out of the recent ones:
1. Signal (very original story)
2. W (again very original plot)
3. Defendant
4. Bring it on, Ghost
5. Age of Youth (different, slice of life drama)
Plenty more I've liked but I'll keep it at those

Shiroten PerformerJust started watching Legend of the Blue Sea. Yep it's a really great series. I might also watch My Love from the Stars starring the same female lead. I was surprised that she's 35. She looks so young and pretty.

"Oh My Ghostess." It's a movie, not a series, but I liked "The Silenced," too.

I'm currently watching Twenty Five, Twenty One on Netflix. One of my favorite sports drama/rom-coms of all time. 31-year-old Kim Tae Ri made an excellent portrayal of a late teenage athlete.

Yup, the final two episodes of the series is really heartbreaking though.
Meanwhile, is anyone here into legal dramas?
I totally recommend Extraordinary Attorney Woo starring Mami Sasazaki... I mean, Park Eun-bin. Park portrays Woo Young-woo, a rookie lawyer with Autism Spectrum Disorder who happens to be obsessed with whales. The plot, script, cinematography, special effects, and chemistry between the actors are top notch!
