There are many things I've expected:
1 - Kojima Haruna will fall out of Kami 7, but at least she's still in Top 10.
2 - Shinoda Mariko's graduation, ever since her speech last year I sort of knew that she was thinking about graduation.
3 - More SKE48 and NMB48 members ranking in and original AKB48 members like Miyazaki Miho, Uchida Mayumi, Nonaka Misato gets no chance.

Things that surprised me:
1 - Hirajima Natsumi's rank in, although not high, but it was the very first surprise for the day.
2 - Rank drops in Kitahara Rie, Kuramochi Asuka, Sato Amina, Umeda Ayaka.
3 - Suda Akari being the 3rd SKE48 member to be ranked into senbatsu.
4 - Miyazawa Sae's decision on being in just SNH48, resigns from being part-time of AKB48 Team K.
5 - Legendary Kami7 was broke apart, Itano Tomomi, Kojima Haruna, Takahashi Minami falls out of it and ranks even lower than SKE48 W Matsui.

That's about it.. though it is new to see Sasshi being the center, I'm looking forward to what type of song that Akimoto Yasushi will write for this new line-up of AKB48 Senbatsu.

Mayuyu was shocked to come 3rd !

She might have came 9th in the Senbatsu, but she'll always be #1 to me.

lol.. I was really shocked with the results~ and somehow I'm accepting it slowly~ XD

it's my 1st senbatsu so I'm really new to this and somehow went emotional to me a lot~ TTwTT

to much feels!! .waaa.

but yea, congrats to all of them and let's just see what Sasshi can do as the new center.. let's just give her a chance on this~ .uhuh.

I was so sad that Yuko didnt win .waaa.
but on the bright side she will not be graduating soon. hopefully..
I hope she can still enters next year and win in for the third time then only decides to graduate .uhuh.
Sasshi being first was totally unexpected thou. I was expected it to be either Yuko and Mayuyu
but still wish them success for their 32nd single with the new center

i dont know whether i should be happy of sad with Sae decided to just stay in SNH
I'm happy that she made a strong and firm decision to just focusing on one group but then I want to see her back in AKB .shy.

well , still feel bad cause Mayu downgrade to 3 , Yagami Kumi graduate , while Natsumi Matsuoka didn't even get into the FG . . . .

at least HKT48 is dominating . . . long live Sashihara in #1 , Sakuratan Undergirls , Kodama with Rabutan into Next Girls , and even the HKT kenkyuusei through the Future Girls , so proud of you girls , Meru and Mio <3
well , Natsumi Matsuoka and Madoka Moriyasu didn't make it , but there will be next year . . .

well , if many indonesian could vote on akicha , akicha's rank will surely increasing . . . but unfortunately we can't . . .

I wonder how this upcoming single will turn out with Sasshi being the center. It's kinda hard to think what AKB will be like. But I kinda think the single will turn out to be something similar to a Not Yet single especially with Sasshi, Yuko, and Yui being in Senbatsu.

as for elections, I was kinda disappointed that Miichan didn't make it into senbatsu, but I'm satisfied with where she's at Undergirls. Also, she looked quite nice with her short hair.
It was a nice surprise to have Akarin in Senbatsu and I was very surprised that W Matsui made it up so high, even passing Takamina, Kojiharu, and Tomochin.
Man, the younger members and sister groups really brought it on this year, especially after Mariko basically told them to "bring it on". I was also surprised that Mayuyu got 3rd, Yuko got 2nd, and Sasshi got 1st. I laughed so hard.
Also, I was excited to see Yui, thinking she was gonna have another break down again, but she was surprisingly calmer this year than the past years even though she needed help getting down the stairs.
Also, Paruru looked like a deer in the headlights. Her eyes were so big lol. She didn't really have anything to add on to her speech, but she looked really frightened or something. XD
I really felt bad for Tomochin, dropping down to 11 and saying that she hates the sousenkyo. I wish she could have ranked a little higher, especially since this was her last sousenkyo.

On the Fuji TV, Acchan showed up. She came back from New York just to see the sousenkyo. She actually seemed kinda disappointed that the members who were closest to her were ranking in lower than the past years.

Also, the thing that made me think is that since Mariko is graduating in July at Fukuoka Dome, but the single comes out in August, so I think she will probably just be recording her vocals and be in the music video. I don't know if we'll get to see her perform the single. I kinda think (hope) that maybe Yui will take over as captain of team A after Mariko graduates. I think she would be the appropriate person because of how much of a hard worker she is.

Overall, it was fun to watch with tons of surprises and I think we have an interesting line up and I'm excited to see what will happen from now on until the next senbastu.

Well, Shunkan Bunshun has done it again. This time, it's Takamina. She was caught drunk leaning on what maybe AKS staff the night before the Nissan Stadium concert. This really isn't a big deal at all since she is of legal drinking age, but I hope this doesn't blow up into something disastrous.

I don't really listen AKB48, but sometimes I watch a PV (I love Mayu, it's for that hehe !). It sounds odd for me all of those "scandals" about AKB. Yesterday, I read (I don't know if it's real or not) that Miyuki Watanabe was also involved in a scandal and today this one. But here I guess she was with her staff so ... she was not alone. I don't understand why people can enjoy to be drunk (I don't drink at all) but she wasn't disturbing somebody in the street or something like that haha.

It was announced on June 18th that Nozawa Rena, a 1st generation JKT48 member will be the first member from an overseas sister group to hold a concurrent position with AKB48.

It was announced a few weeks ago that the Japanese airline ANA (All Nippon Airways) will be using AKB48 to help them boost travel to Japan. They seem to building on their popularity in Asia to help them encourage more tourism to Japanese cities. ANA will be offering a music channel on their in-flight entertainment system that will be dedicated to only AKB48 MV's and PV's.

ANA gets all the cool stuff like Pokemon planes and now AKB, plus I've heard the service is really good, but we've always taken JAL since it's cheaper lol. Plus all I really do in planes is sleep. I don't even eat anything except for rice crackers and some water to drink since my stomach can't really handle food when I'm sitting in a plane.

Yes, that's true. So far ANA has had the Pokemon plane and also the Gundam livery too. They were also the launch customer for the Boeing 787. I always use ANA. I have the ANA American Express loyalty card too. The service isn't just good, it's superb. The best I've ever used. It is a little more expensive but it worth it. Yes, I understand your feeling about the airline food, but I feel more comfortable once I've eaten. But I can't seem to sleep on a plane, I'm too busy watching the sky outside and looking down at the world below. I did try to get into their flight school, but I failed their medical...shame Onion Tsk

The song and PV seem to have a more mature style than their previous singles. It kinda has an SDN48-ish feel too it in my opinion.

It's not ska, like I thought it would be, but definitely has that Mayuyu idol feel to it like Synchro Tokimeki, Otona Jellybeans, and Watarirouka Hashiritai 7, except with a little more brass. I like it, so I will probably end up getting it.

(by the way rappa renshuchu translates to something along the lines of "practicing trumpet" or "in the middle of practicing trumpet"
