@khareen - people were actually discussing that saying on tumblr saying "what would happen if other 48 group members or graduated members join tumblr?" and people said it would be cool, but it would also be kinda awkward fanboying/ fangirling about them when they are there. haha. People were saying "what if AKB members read their fanfiction or saw everything people were saying about them and stuff?"

a couple of years ago I saw this stats in a FB fanpage
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] with AKB48 being the highest Asian group, to my surprise as I checked it again and saw that Girl's Generation is already leading against AKB48 and 2NE is just 300K more or less behind AKB. What really surprises me is that when I view the charts I can't see any other artist/group that comes near with AKB48's average first week sales. I know it's from wiki so it might not be accurate at all. anyone who shed light on the real picture of their ranking... also I don't intend to flame anyone with this post is just that I can't shake the feeling that something is not right

I feel happy for Amina because she got to be in AKB, and that was her dream and now, she's going on to do voice acting. I feel like she was kinda being put on hold in AKB, especially with all the younger generations and members have been getting more attention. 

Well, now Yuko is graduating. 

I actually felt more happy than sad compared to other graduation announcements. I think it mostly had to do with how short her speech was. 
I feel like she doesn't have much more to gain from AKB especially because she's already an incredible actress. I also feel like she has some kind of rivalry with Acchan, so she needs to get out there.
I feel like her graduation announcement hasn't really sunk in yet, I think I'll feel it more when the date comes closer. 
I kinda predicted that she would be graduating within about 3 months after watching her drama Ando Lloyd. 
I hope that there will be at least a few more months before the official graduation though. 

I have this weird feeling that Kojiharu will follow not too long after Yuko graduates especially because Kojiharu has been stating that it's been on her mind for a while. Also, she is pretty good friends with Yuko, and they're the same age.

Kojiharu is thinking about graduating soon? Aww, I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad. I love her in AKB, but I also know she is a wonderful actress.

I hope that when she does graduate that she will be able to pursue her acting career. I wish her the best, whatever she decides to do.

I think she will be just fine as an actress or a TV show host with her personality.

I also predict Kojipa will be the next to leave, I remember her saying she would probably leave when Yuko does.

Mayuyu was my oshi, she was the first member I've noticed. Now, my heart goes to Sayaka Yamamoto and Miyuki Watanabe ^^. Of course, I have a long list of favorite members.

Yes, as an AKB fan since 2006 I was horrified !
It appears 24 year old Satoru Umeta was upset by something Rina Kawaei said in her blog and decided he had to punish her.
He lunged at her with a handsaw at their handshake event in Iwate, her close friend Anna Iriyama was also hurt trying to protect Rina and so was a member of staff.
Both girls are now out of Hospital and are expected to make a full recovery.

Their Director General Minami Takahashi ( Takamina ) was summoned to Tokyo to discuss the matter.
It is unlikely though that handshake events will be stopped as they bring in a huge amount of revenue.

it seems that the guy wasn't a fan of AKB but just wanted to hurt people. If it wasn't an AKB event, it would happened to another person (a musician, a painter, ...).

I felt really bad since I read it on sunday noon (France time). And today, when I woke up, my first thoughts were for the girls and the staff. I thought (and still think) about it all day long, it's so sad.

I'm not a big AKB48 fan, but this shouldn't happen to anyone and it could have just as easily been Scandal or anyone else. All they're trying to do is put on a nice event for their fans and this happens. The only bright spot is that it could have been a lot worse than it was.

I cringe when I think about what those girls must have been thinking at the moment it happened.
