International Performeri know akb but im never been a fan like their songs beginner and ponytail to shoushou, i like maeda and am happy she's leaving i just want her to get out from an idol grp where someone is pulling the strings and made them sell their image. And i saw her audition and said that she originally wanted to b an actress so i hope she will b 1 of japans best actresses n the future

International PerformerAs a huge AKB fan I find it hard to ( and do not want to ) believe Acchan is leaving !
I have know her since she was 14 years old and AKB will not be the same without her, but I wish her all the best with all my heart.
She said her reasons are that she has been a member since she was 14 and recently her moods have been upsetting the other girls.
Yasushi Akimoto said it means major changes and if they do not work out he will also leave, nooooo !
He is going to transfer Jurina Matsui from SKE48 to replace Acchan.
Even though Jurina has huge ambition, they are big shoes for a 14 year old to fill !

well as for myself ,when she's graduate i feel Acchan will . . . will like any other J-Artist which is even me hardly to get interested at . . . AKB48 name makes her big and she's centre in almost all PV , and i really disappeared with her 'bukiyou' PB , i get scared if she's out of AKB she will do many something like that , release of Akimoto care after.
really , i'm speechless .waaa.
videos of acchan sotsugyou talks . . . Takamina is the one who most sad here

She certainly did a good job at acting as a singer then XD what a feat! 6 years .clap. there certainly in a her! I'm not a fan of akb that much but seeing the main focus leaving they better scramble to find the next big thing in place of her... I bet she would have been been of it by now... 6 years of being an idol... now she can start new and still have the fans from AKB following her (hopefully)

Indie ArtistHuwatt?! She's already graduating? I'm not really a fan of AKB48 too but I've grown to like Atsuko Maeda..It was only this year that I've known about the group. .sweat.
I've tried to study about them too but...
There just too many of them .whiteflag.
Hmm, wish that she will get a lot of projects too even after her graduation..
Hope I'll get to see her again.

Shiroten PerformerJust watched this live this morning (it's was morning over here).
I like the phenomenon, spectacle and drama of AKB48, but not the music so much.
I was watching with english voiceovers but still missed out on some stuff due to some connection issues. But why did those girls (think I heard 16 years or younger) had to suddenly leave everything? Was it past their bedtime? O.o
Watched a documentary on the band and that girl Takamina is incredible. I don't mean in singing or looks (even though she is pretty and I'm sure she is a good singer). I mean more the way she takes care of everyone, sort of like a really loving mother. I was very impressed.

Takamina ( Minami Takahashi ) is the Captain of Team A and the Leader of AKB.
She has always taken her job very seriously even though many people thought that Acchan ( Atsuko Maeda ) was the Leader.
There must be a lot of stress with 64 girls to look after.

I watched the general election live at 2:00 AM and watched it until 5:00AM and I fell asleep , so I got to Miichan, but I missed the rest, but I'm glad Yuko won.
On another note, 2 years ago, I've watched a bunch of AKB48 videos without knowing it was them. starting from the commercial with the girl that was made from a mix of a few member's faces. Not until recently, I started getting interested in this group and started memorizing names, listening to their music, and watching AKBingo and other shows. Since then, I've been listening to other the other groups like SKE, NMB. and AKB's subunits like no3bs, Watarirouka Hashiritai, Not yet, Diva, and French Kiss. I've been listening to a lot of Not Yet.

I found it interesting that Sakura no Shiori has been awarded by the Japanese government to cure insomnia and sleep disorders.
Here's a link to the article:

It's a very soothing song, and I listen to it when I'm sleeping sometimes.

I think 'Sakura no Shiori' is a very under rated AKB song.
It is a beautiful graduation song.
I feel really sorry for Rino Sashihara as well, how could that ex boyfriend ruin her
career just for money ?
I got all my Japanese friends to vote for Miichan but she only moved up one place !

Shiroten Performer@Tonymiller: Yeah, it must be really stressfull. This isn't just looking after 64 regular girls either, it's taking care of them in a vicious and constantly straining music industry. All the while actually taking part in it herself. Yeah, she is great!
It will most likely be hard on the girls the day she graduates. Then again, she might start working like behind the scenes as part of the crew instead.
What's this about Rino Sashihara though? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

She broke the Golden rule of Japanese idols by having a boyfriend.
But he gave the story to the newspapers for money !
She was lucky she was one of Akimoto's favourites, he should have thrown her
out but he transfered her to HKT48 as a punishment instead, here is the link :

Shiroten Performer@tonymiller: Yeah I know about that damn golden rule.
This makes me seriously pissed of. Good thing that *oooops bad word detected* is all the way over in Japan or I might rip his tounge out and feed it to some pig. How can someone ruin a persons dream life like that for a quick buck. Obviously I don't know the whole story, perhaps Rino isn't a saint either. But if he lied and they were really just friends (like I read a quote from Rino saying just now) then...GAAAAH! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Even if they were a couple, good for her you know (well the whole thing didn't turn out so good, but she couldn't have known that). She is young and beautiful and she along with all other idols in Japan deserve to be with someone. I'm really glad Akimoto didn't fire her completely. And I hope that her fans continue to support her despite something like this.

That guy is a pretty messed up "friend/ boyfriend" for radding out Sasshi.
With Sasshi in HKT48, I think HKT will gain some popularity.
Hopefully, her solo music and Not Yet will be unaffected by all of this, or else I would be really disappointed with Aki-P's decision, as if I'm not disappointed already. But I guess rules are rules, and if you break 'em, there are consequences...
By the way, has anyone here watched the 2 seasons of Majisuka Gakuen? It's a great show. I heard they're coming out with season 3 pretty soon.

Sadly it is all about money, the newspaper offered 'Mr.A' big bucks for the story !
But Sasshi was lucky, Akimoto should have thrown her out for breaking the number 1 rule.
Yes I have watched series 1 and 2 of 'Majisuka Gakuen' !
Lets go upstairs and fight those Yankee girls, don't you think Mayuyu plays a great psycho ?
At least AKB's loss is HKT48's gain.
As a very good Japanese businessman Akimoto is not going to throw away money.
