There's internet access but all the ports meant for internet gaming is blocked. .wew.

If you have internet access, that's no longer considered LAN..

We can choose to use tools like Lancraft or YAWLE to play LAN when connected to school network. Happy

It's also possible to create wireless ad-hoc network to play Warcraft III using LAN.

Yeah on Warcraft 3 theres several software that lets you simulate LAN, (GG, Hamachi,etc), but I dont think theres gonna be such option on Dota 2. Sad story for cybers xD

Nov. 3 is when they started sending them out.

Just go to dota2.com and check whenever they make a new post about beta keys, and cross your fingers when you check your email!

First, you'll need to have a steam account. http://store.steampowered.com/about/

Second, go to this website and apply for a beta key. http://www.dota2.com/survey/experience/?l=english

You'll have to wait, because they don't give out keys too often, and you might not be selected (since it's still beta right now).

Unless you have a friend with an extra beta key to give you, the above mentioned is the only way.

You can trade your beta invites (if they are on your steam inventory) for about 2 keys each. If they are only beta keys (numbers) then you can give those away xD
