My city got sacked by Blizzard Nemo a week ago and I was without power for 18 hours. Luckily my Nintendo 3DS XL still had loads of power left so I just slept and played Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.

here in our country we tend to have blackouts whenever a typhoon hits..
I just grab a guitar and play any song that i can think of.. or go a friends house, get some bottles of beer just take the boredom away and play guitar while having a mini party..
just as you know filipinos always find a way to be happy at any situation.. :D

I think, I've never experienced a blackout in Germany. At least no blackouts that lasted long enough to do anything.

~The Most Thing I Do When There is a Blackout is too look at the skies untili fell asleep.x) And I also play games at my laptop to kill time.x) Good thing my laptops battery is fully charged:3

..well..usually when black outs occur in our place..we go outside and chit chat with my cousins..or sometimes..play card and board games..play music from cellphone..we do a lot of talking when there's no electricity...just to make the silence go away...ahehe..

I do agree, though, that we tend to look for just about anything fun to do just to pass the time. It speaks of our nature as "eternal optimists".
Back to the topic... Here's what I did the last time there we had a blackout. Out of complete boredom and since I had mobile Internet on my phone, I decided to share the view from inside my room on my IG:
I got creeped out, myself. It's like something from a horror movie. And to think, this was still morning. :s

Blackouts in the Philippines don't last for a day.

Anyways i guess I would read books most of the time waiting for the power to come back. At night go out watch a movie ? I think i would also maybe just stare at the stars or something like that and think about life and the future. Something you don't really do in our "busy" lives nowadays...

GuestPlay the acoustic guitar, listen to songs on my mp3 (that is, if it has enough battery on it because oftentimes I fail to have it charged.), send people text messages, draw, doodle, write fictions, Emote on a dark corner of a room, and of course, eat.
