Caless StudentINCEPTION :D Not always do you come across a mainstream Hollywood movie that's a hit and at the same time intellectually brilliant. 12/10 for me (the extra 2 comes from the fact that Ellen Page is so hot )
But for Japanese movies, I must say Tokyo Gore Police. Not for the faint hearted though, I guess It lives up to it's name. And since I'm a gore/slasher/horror/sci-fi fan, I love this film very much. 9.5/10 :D

International PerformerI have just seen "13 Assassins" by Takashi Milke and it was really good !
It is a remake of the 1963 movie where Samurai Shinzaemon Shimada
accepts a suicide mission to kill the evil Lord Naritsugu.
Although there are legs and arms flying everywhere the message
is anti violence !

Ellen Page always gets respect points! XD she's so pretty, and really interesting as an actor For this reason, I really like Juno lol
I really liked Parade, this Japanese movie... I feel like watching it now, actually lol. Or ... there's ... BANDAGE ... Hana and Alice, The Longest Night in Shanghai.
In terms of anime, I really can't get over The Sky Crawlers. It's depressing and dark and lovely all at once, when I first watched it, it left such an impression on me -- more so than Howl's Moving Castle ... but lately, I really love watching the Evangelion movies... XD

International PerformerI recently got challenged to make a list of my Top 25 all-time favorite movies, and this seemed like the best forum topic to share.
For perspective, this is not my list of the top 25 movies of all-time. These are my personal favorites: the movies I seem to watch every year or two; and I will always stop whatever I am doing if I am randomly channel surfing and come across one of these movies.
Also, regarding my top 3 I do very much love the immediate sequels, but chose not to include them on the list so I could get more titles in. In the case of my 1 and 2 choices, the second movie is a better movie, but it's those first ones that made me want to pursue a career in movies.
And yes, these are in order.
In case anyone is interested in what just missed the list...

7. The Usual Suspects (1995)
8. Cool Hand Luke (1967)
9. Better Off Dead (1985) - I once worked with the director and told him how much I loved this movie, and he thought I was pulling a prank on him because the critics and the star of the movie hated it so much.

International PerformerI can't say what I do now because of my NDA, but I worked on the animated show "Sabrina" of which he was the head writer.Haruna's Ears wrote:Don Dio, I'd be interested to know what kind of work you were doing with Savage Steve Holland!
I oversaw the entire steps of the animation process from script through art design, to storyboarding to voice timing and final animation and color. I worked much closer with the director on each show than I did the writers, but I did get to interact every so often with Savage Steve in the office and it was rarely work-related.
