Can't wait to hear Spongy's TIMO vocal parts added to the mix, man.
kawaii93 - any chance you doing your video different from your desktop ones - cos this cover seems pretty epic, if you ask me.
Different? Do you have anything specific in mind?
Nothing too outrageous, so not to worry.
You don't have to go outdoors or anything - but if there's an empty wall in your room that you could use as the background that'd be cool. It doesn't have to be completely empty but since the shot is relatively close, it should be all right.
Also, if you have anything in mind yourself, please go for it.
I apologize for the lack of wolves and bears. However, I'll be doing some commuting to the big city of Toronto tomorrow so be ready for subway videos from Canada.
I like the travelling theme. It fits with the song and the idea of "please help me find my way to a far away city". If everyone could have a video of them walking running, riding a car / bus / train, I think it could be really cool.
Thanks, clem and kawaii! Now waiting for bchoun and spongy's videos.
As I've mentioned in an earlier post, I'll be away from my workstation from the end of this week until mid-July. So, I should be able to start on the edit then. Even if I get the rest of the band's videos by tomorrow, that's cutting it too close. I've an idea for this video (if it works!) and I'd rather work on it properly on my desktop.
I agree that you should wait until you're back to take the time necessary to do a good job. Besides, this project started mid May IIRC? So even if when you come back it would take a week or two to complete the final edit, it'd still be a project done in around two and a half months, which is pretty good.

Thanks for your understanding. From past projects, I tend to be in the mood - and could complete an edit in about one weekend. Fingers crossed.

Dude, I just saw your Henrietta cover.
LOVE your voice!!!
Thanks! Haven't practiced both together much is what I mean. I'll give that video another try tonight.
In terms of another video, I tried getting one of me running after a frisbee but it didn't go so well >_<. I could get one of me walking in the woods with my dog? Or do we have enough, idk.

Any extra footage is very much welcomed.
Also, just a quick reminder to all - if you wanna submit any further videos, could you take them in landscape, and not portrait please? Obviously it's more natural to hold a phone in portrait mode but the video will be narrow and cropping it in post may not give the desired effect.

I see Pinq worked his magic again. This mix makes me happy. Thumbs up! .clap.
I just want to make a little request. If any of you choose to do one of those travelling videos, it would be preferable if you filmed yourself while travelling. Filming yourself while walking on the street or while riding the bus or train would work. I know if those are crowded it could be a little embarrassing so again, no pressure. Anything else would be welcome of course.
Reading the lyrics, it's not an easy song to create filler videos for but there's two weeks left before Kudo comes back so I'll try to find other ideas for funny, or fitting to the song, little videos.

My feedback - awful...LY SUPERBLY FANTASTIC. Ok ok... getting old this, lol.
If I could have the best quality audio file for the video please, Mr pinq O'Brien, I'll appreciate it.

The best, if at all possible angle for what clem is suggesting is a wide angle lens camera (eg a GoPro) on a selfie stick as it gives this view (sorry to use my holiday video as an example - as a screencap just doesn't cut it).
Look out for shots like this:
Pretend you're a tourist, that'll take away any embarrassment hahaha.
Please please - safety first. Like do this where it's safe. I know we're all adults but just don't do this where it attracts unnecessary attention from urban criminal elements.
clem, IF you think you wanna do another drive around vid: 1. if your dash board cam is in the middle of the dash board, have it aimed straight to the back and its lens should be wide enough to include you 2. dashboard cam aimed straight to the road, taken at night in the city - imagine the light streaks from the lights when sped up
lethaldj - reshoot with your stratomaster by a cliff with wind in your ha... KIDDINGKIDDING.
A mobile phone is fine, folks. And landscape please not portrait.
No pressure.
Final notes
As we do have two and half weeks-ish time before I start editing, could I have all videos ready by then please.
bchoun - if you could do vid as soon as that'll be great. From your covers on YouTube, I note some of your vids utilise the headless shot angle (because it's a cover video so as people can see the right and fretting left hand - I know). The current trend in SHCB vids is to be a bit of both cover-style and performance-style, so if we can please see your face in it that'll be great!
This is the (?)fastest SCANDAL song SHCB ever covered I think - 180bpm, and you guys sound TIGHT. Pat yourselves on the back, yo.
