For me, popular anime-covers should be shown. I gain my interests in SCANDAL through their performance in K-ON ending: Don't Say Lazy. Once the Scandal-roll started, PVs like Taiyo To Kimi Ga Egaku Story or BEAUteen should be popularized among those SCANDAL-less souls.. xp .clap.

For songs, Shojo S or Shunkan Sentimental, hands down. Once they heard the music, I'm pretty sure they'll be hooked. .love. I did.

To summarize:
PVs : Don't Say Lazy-- Taiyo To Kimi Ga Egaku Story+Beauteen
Song: Shoujo S or Shunkan Sentimental.

hmmm, probably BeauTEEN as this video captures their beauty and really portray it to people!!! It worked for me most of the times!!! The other times is when I show other videos like Koi Moyou etc. That means that you shouldnt show their shiroten days....But Shoujo S is actually a gud choice, but It all actually comes down to his type of genre!

for both song and PV i will choose shoujo s.really like the song and how they looked in the PV

Secret Base for me .. bcoz in that vid., they can see what's SCANDAL behind the scenes/off stage, and how they performed on the stage, all in one ..
and Haruna's voice there too was just so awesome ..

Since I've already done that I can answer.

I show more than one of course, because you need variety to get a good feel.

I showed a few people the PV for Koi Moyo, and then a video for Namida no Regret.

Then if they like it, switch to one of the DVDs. They're short enough to watch in one sitting.

Well it depends type of rock they like... but I'd certainly show them Shunkan Sentimental PV or just the song itself thats the song that wrapped me to SCANDAL its has the second highest play amount after Shoujo S (the first song that introduced me to SCANDAL via Bleach not my favourite but its on itunes the longest) I'd show Cute, Namida no regret, taiyou to kimi ga egaku story and Pride... maybe Haruka... but I only have one school friend who is a SCANDAL fan through Bleach... but I haven't got of my friends to like SCANDAL yet...

I'll show to him/her any of their live performances because I love the music videos of scandal and I don't know why I wouldn't want to share it first .sweat. and I think if he/she is interested in it, I think he/she will find them by themselves hahah

I get tired of showing them to English people because they always say "But they are not singing in English" !
I have to say "Er no, they are Japanese so they are singing in Japanese" !
I get all upset like a fanboy if people do not like them !
So I agree with you, we found them for ourselves, let them do the same !

Yeah, I gave up on that too. I always get things like "But it's not English" or "Why would you listen to that when you don't understand it."
And everyone in my family seems to hate Japanese music .wtf.

So IF I introduce them to someone, then it is one of my anime buddies or someone who actually is interested in knowing what I listen to. In which case I'd probably use Sakura Goodbye or Shunkan Sentimental

anyway... its just if SCANDAL clicks with them with they did with us... it just doesn't happen to everyone.... I didn't fall in love with SCANDAL when I first heard them as an opening on Bleach it took time for the chemical to react.... hehe thats how I'd say it...
