i think it would depend on the music preference of the person. if he/she likes rock so much, i would show Shunkan Sentimental, Shoujou S, Scandal Baby, and Hi-Hi-Hi. if he/she's more into pop, i'd show Cute and Haruka

It depends. If he/she is into rock music, I'll show shoujo s or shunkan. but if not, probably I'll show Namida no Regret or Haruka. (Namida and Haruka worked on my girl best friends. hahaha.)

As for me, Namida and Harukaze was the first PVs that got me into them just few months ago. Just sharing. Haha.

My personal experience:

The only thing I understand in Japanese is "Watashi wa nihongo o wakarimasen", but as most kids living in El Salvador during the 80s, the love for anime was always there.

So, FMA - Brotherhood is among my favorites, and I instantly took a liking to the 4th ending (there's a tunnel on my way to work, and I'd whistle the intro riff every time I crossed it ).

One of these days, out of curiosity I decided to look up in Youtube the openings & endings, leaving for last that dynamic and catchy tune I liked so much.

It took just one look at Shunkan to hook me for life...

After all these years, I still choose "Shunkan Sentimental", it's their best track and it's the direction that I hope their music grow into. However, I know that they did a lot of catchy pop-rock as well, so to represent their overall tone of music "Taiyou Scandalous" would be good as well.

One of my friends heard SCANDAL Nanka Buttobase and liked the old-school j-rock style on that song. It's like listening to old times' anime opening, he said.

If they like cuteness more than anything, CUTE! would be perfect to show first.

But overall, I'd show them Haruka or Shunkan Sentmimental. Haruka because it shows beauty and ability to sing can exist together, ShunSen because that song is just so cool.

Shunkan sentimental, that was the first SCANDAL song I REALLY got in love of.

hmm..for me it would be harukaze the live version of animax..i've already tried it to my officemate and her reaction was 'wow!cool band' we both like the drum beat, rythm of the song, lyrics and of course all of band members are kawaii =)
