After Nolan's trilogy I don't think a new Batman is needed, but this is a good movie. The photography is excellent in some points.

This is one my favourites. For my history of cinema class at film school, I chose this as part of the "Evolution of Japanese Cinema" paper I wrote. It's a fantastic film. Have you seen any of his other films, Throne Of Blood (1957) is brilliant as well.

The Flight Of The Navigator (1986)
Directed by Randal Kleiser who also directed Grease.

I have a boxed set of Akira Kurosawa Movies, he Directed over 30 Movies as you probably know and I expect you also know :
Was Star Wars inspired by Akira Kurosawa?
The films of legendary director Akira Kurosawa were one of the primary inspirations for Star Wars, and the franchise continued to make references and homages to Kurosawa's films well after it debuted in 1977.
I just watched the original version of 'Blade Runner' ( 1982 ) again

I've seen some of his films and as a student of Audiovisual it's amazing to me how good the cinematography is. I have yet to watch Throne of Blood, thanks for the recommendation Steve.
I also remember watching The Flight of The Navigator as a kid at my grandma's house, good times.

Did a triple feature in theaters, so here goes:
The World of Us - At first I came into this thinking that it would be a really lovely film about childhood, but the midway point just turned what seemed to be a cute movie about friendship into something even more painful and slowly devastating. If you hate having to think back about your memories of being a kid, this is probably going to hit really close to home.
Get Out - This was my third time seeing it in theaters, it's just absolutely brilliant.
Crash - Not the Best Picture winner, but the other one. It's every bit what you could imagine it sounds like, but I absolutely love it.

I heard they were going to make a sequel. But nothing came of it.
- Spoiler:
The intention was to create a Cloverfield universe of sorts, where a series of movies would be tied together with the monster invasion happening at different points across the world.
More movies were initially expected, but JJ Abrams is a bit busy these days to come back to this franchise idea.
OT--
Saturday night I did a roller derby double-feature (because I saw live roller derby for the first time that afternoon):
KANSAS CITY BOMBER (1972) - starring the lovely Raquel Welch
WHIP IT (2009)
Last night I did a Vincent Price double feature, both from 1963:
DIARY OF A MADMAN
THE HAUNTED PALACE

I can't believe I forgot the third movie (I did post-production work on all three )
OT--
Watched another Vincent Price movie last night: THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM (1961); and then followed it up with Bela Lugosi's THE CORPSE VANISHES (1942).

International PerformerOh they were like "sequels"? I heard of them but never actually got the chance to see them. I saw Super8 (2011) when that came out.
@topic: Last night I watched Death Becomes Her (1992). This is a Zemeckis classic, and Bruce Willis plays the character of Ernest really well.

I enjoyed the movie; but based on the trailer I went into it thinking I was going to see a suspenseful thriller. It wasn't.
