I really love animes about music, but there are only so many I've heard of! My favorite is Sakamichi No Apollon (Kids on the Slope). Do you guys know of any other good ones? I am currently watching Your Lie in April and Sound Euphonium.

Hmm.. you can try K-ON! or Love Live! They are more of the cuter type though
I really enjoy music-related anime too. Your Lie in April and Sound Euphonium are definitely among my top favourites for this year.

Loved Beck: MCS. One of the few English dubs that I really enjoyed.

I just finished the first season of K-ON and I was not disappointed! Kind of reminded me of Scandal's origin story, while their performances were Silent Siren-esque. Also, the soundtracks are awesome ^_^ FUWA FUWA TIME!

I also recommend Nana. Yes, it's different than K-on or LL because its mood is much heavier. It's more similar to Hibike Euphonium in that aspect. Pretty great shoujo nonetheless, too bad it's unfinished.

Do "Gravitation" and "FLCL" count as well? I have seen both and they were quite good. I need to add "Initial D" as well as it's highly based on music.

I mostly dont read mangas but I know they have better storys than animes. Even thoug the anime is better than lots of animes. Re: Music Animes
