Zemaitis Guitar looks great especially in the hands of Miku.

A few weeks ago, Zemaitis Guitars posted on Facebook that they were looking for some Endorsed Artists. I'm not sure what that meant, but they invited people to apply with them to become such an artist.
I went to their website and sent an e-mail letting them know they should look into Kobato Miku of Band-Maid, because Miku currently uses two different Zemaitis models. Surprisingly, the next day I had a reply from one of their representatives (the guitar maker is actually based in Japan) saying they would reach out to her. I replied with all the contact information I had for her manager, management company, and music label.
Didn't hear anything after that, so figured it probably wouldn't go anywhere, especially since Band-Maid was in Europe at the time. Also, Miku isn't really a well known or well respected guitarist yet; she's actually only been playing for about three years.
Imagine my surprise when I saw this on twitter today:

Great job, Saldiven!
Anyway, YOLO is a pretty good single but not as strong and appealing as Real Existense and Thrill. I love the singles' third track Matchless Gum which reminds me of grittier version of Maid in Japan.

Mainstream ArtistI really like the YOLO single, too.
The two additional tracks are strong, and are maybe even better than the title track.

Mainstream ArtistBand-Maid's newest album was #11 on Oricon's chart after the first day of sales. Not bad for their first full length album and first major label release. I wish we could see the international numbers since they're moving a decent number of copies on places like CDJapan, and will be available on Amazon and through JPU Records in Europe.

I am a bit disappointed that Just Bring It is not yet available on iTunes Philippines.
Has anyone here bought copies of LE? Do those come with jewel cases?

Caless StudentBand-Maid is definitely super talented. And Saiki has the perfect voice for the band. Really like their music and the riffs they put into their songs...
I'm not sure they write their own lyrics though, I'm not a big fan of their lyrics...
I'm interested in what they would really want to write about if otherwise! Curious as to where they will take the band in the future

From the looks of it, Miku is their primary lyricist with Saiki chipping in here and there.
Over half of the songs on Just Bring It are composed and/or arranged by the band too. Impressive!

Is that only with their most recent album though? Or have they always been writing all the lyrics?
I get some people like the idea of maids and those kinds of lyrics, but it's really not what I'm looking for .dies.
Though, again, their melodies are great!

Yeah for comparison Miku only did the lyrics for 3 songs on Brand New MAID: Yuragu, Freedom, and Alone. So it's nice to see that their first full length album is mostly their own product.

Don't Let Me Down was not written by the band, either music or lyrics.
In fact, the songwriter lifted a lot of the song song from a Halestorm tune. Every time I hear the Band-Maid song, I wince, because I fear it's a copyright lawsuit waiting to happen (unless the label got permission beforehand, no telling). I'm certain the band isn't aware of this since Halestorm isn't super well known worldwide, but the song DLMD sounds like was nominated for a Grammy.
And, honestly, it's not a direct copy or anything. It's just that DLMD is very clearly inspired by the Halestorm song.
And, as far as those lyrics are concerned, none of the band speaks much English. I'm sure they only had a vague idea what they meant when they recorded the song.
