Yes, that's correct (but they all had differently colored crowns--MAMI's was green, which essentially made her a carrot ). It's not surprising that it's not up anymore since Sony will take videos uploaded by unofficial uploaders down right away. In this case, though, I think the uploader took down the videos before Sony could get to them.

For those concerned about the price of the Japanese dvds, I normally get the Hong Kong editions from yesasia.com instead. For example the Japanese dvd of "Wonderful Tonight" is listed at $44.49 atm, the Hong Kong one is $21.25! That's better than half price! Saying that, they aren't listing a Hong Kong version of Festival atm...
I have Video Action, Wonderful Tonight, Scandal vs Budokan and more all on Hong Kong versions. They are Region 3 not Region 2 but that seems to be the only difference.

(No, I don't work for yesasia.com, but I am a loyal customer because of their free (but incredibly slow) shipping!)

R3 DVDs are often inferior to R2 ones, video/audio quality wise. I mean, really often and sometimes really, really inferior. That being said, I only own R2 versions of SCANDAL DVDs so I can't compare in this particular case but…
Anyway, I'll go for the BD. It's only 1000¥ more and given it's been shot in FHD there's no point buying the DVD to me.

That's must be to do with bootlegs though. I find it hard to believe that Sony deliberately re-encode at a lower quality for different regions. I've got loads of Scandal stuff from yesasia, a lot of Japanese promo DVDs from the singles and lot's of Hong Kong versions of Albums with DVDs and I've never noticed a quality issue between the Region 2 and Region 3 ones. I have no reason to believe any of their stuff is counterfeit, it certainly all looks like legitimate Sony product, has the labels on the plastic wrapper, extra bit of paper around the hinge of the jewel case, etc.
Still, this was aimed at those above who thought the Japanese DVDs were expensive. All a bit irrelevant as they haven't announced a Hong Kong version of Festival.... (but other Hong Kong live's are still available!)

Just preordered along with their latest album.  Have been waiting forever to watch this concert as I haven't been able to find it for viewing anywhere except a song here and there.

Can't wait to get my hands on it .clap.

I've got the blu ray playing on my PS3 right now.  Showed up this morning - I ordered it from cdjapan.

I've watched very little of Scandal live - but wow this is quite the show.  I do like bluray being region 1 in Japan so it's easy to import.

Until today I only owned 4 of their albums, with this shipment I got the 4 I was missing.  So I'm not surprised I don't recognize all the songs they are performing.

But I'm really impressed thus far.

Could those of you that have the blu-ray say if the audio is heavily processed like the previous one?

Someone asked about this on reddit, I don't have the prior so I'm not sure.  But it doesn't sound like the CDs - it sounds more natural.  Is that good or bad?

Yes, although it's slightly different. I actually haven't had time to watch the whole thing yet but I've watched a few songs through headphones and I've seen the original TV footage to compare the performance. The BD/DVD is quite obviously auto-tuned (as I knew it would be; the second TV broadcast was), although the auto-tune is not as obtrusive as it was on Wonderful Tonight. It sounds a little more natural, so if you're not against the *idea* of auto-tune on "live" DVD's, you probably won't care about it. (I kind of am, though.)

The instruments, though, are weirdly muffled. Usually their instrumentals sound great on all their discs, and there's no reason for them not to - the recording's coming out of the mixing board and the producers can make the instruments sound however they want (just like the vocals). But for some reason they chose to make the guitars and drums on this disc sound like the band's playing at the far end of a long tunnel. They've drastically cut the volume and high end, and added tons of reverb. I can only guess it's because they're trying to give you the experience of being in a seat at Yokohama Arena, but Wonderful Tonight's instrumentals sounded better than this and that was at the same arena.

So it's kind of a mixed bag. Slightly less processed vocals, slightly more (and poorly) processed instruments.

Of course it's always fun to see them live in any case, and the picture quality's great at least.

I always think their mix engineer / management have the general pop music listeners in mind. They are so afraid to scare them not to buy their releases anymore with the real rock live sound on discs haha!
That is why whenever you have the chance to see them live, go ahead! Don't miss it!

Finally just received mine, along with their not so new anymore CD.  Can't wait to watch it but it will most likely have to wait for the weekend, my not so newborn has been very fussy lately and not giving me much "me" time lol.  At least I get to listen to the CD in the car on the way home from work - about the only time I get to listen to music nowadays.

I bought mine discounted at their Hong Kong tour. Compare to their Budokan and Osaka-Jo Hall performance, the band has really matured as musicians. I played the DVD at a gym where I do my weekday workout yesterday. I did NOT hear any auto-tune at all. 

My favorite moments when the band played "Standard" (the song) without applying distortion on mics. They were like just having fun. While, there was some '80s adult oriented rock feel on their "Haruka" performance. But the best moment was the intro on "Everybody Say Yeah" so much reminds me of Duran Duran during they heyday. Playing a brand new song at the time ("Yoake no Ryuseigun") during encore is something new and the crowd went wild.

Next time, I'll tell my friend to take a video of me lifting kettlebells while watching the concert DVD and post it here, hehe.
