I'm definitely getting this. It will be awesome to own this outdoor show on Blu-ray.

Well their live discs are my favorite thing they release, so I will definitely be getting it on day 1. I would *hope* the Blu-Ray version has the bonus video, although it's possible it might just be on the same disc since Blu-Ray holds a lot more data.

Yes I will definitely be adding that to my collection, the DVD will do me fine as I watch it on my PC anyway.

I would like it if they would also start releasing CDs of these concert recordings.  I want to listen to them while I'm driving.  Definitely going to get the BluRay anyway.

If you're looking for higher quality, Blu-ray is the way to go.

You need to make sure you have a player that can read Blu-rays, though.

On Amazon Japan, this bluray is 5184y, and this one is 4819y. They seem similar. One is ~3$ cheaper. The more expensive one says "limited edition" in the product description. Really?? Limited edition? I see no such thing on CD Japan. Anyone know if there's a real difference between the two blurays on Amazon?

Technically, both of those are discounted because the retail price of the Blu-ray is 6,000 yen. Big stores like Amazon JP and Tower Records tend to give slight discounts on new releases.

There is only ONE actual difference between the two, and that's the Amazon-only first press bonus (a metal pin with the SCAFES logo on it) that comes with the one that's 5,184 yen. It's probably discounted less because of that. Also, it's not a true "limited edition" because they've never mentioned that there's any sort of LE with this release, nor have they ever offered LE DVDs. In this case, Amazon is referring to the first press bonus.

Does anybody know what the first press bonus will be for shops like TOWER RECORDS, HMV and TSUTAYA? I am going to Japan again in three days and I would like to buy the Blu-Ray right in place. I would prefer a Tomomi related bonus. Thanks!

Finally got mine from HMV - got the poster even though I ordered slightly after release. The poster has the pic that's been floating around of them together on stage from the show.

Haven't finished watching all the way through but my initial impression is that they sound a lot more natural on this release than on any past release since the "Everybody Say Yeah!" DVD, way back when they were only even releasing stuff on DVD! So either they've finally learned how to use auto-tune judiciously, or they're just not even using it. It sounds like they're mostly just using the mix, though, which is better. I'll have to compare the raw TV footage to know for sure. Every release since "Wonderful Tonight" has sounded a little more natural than the last. I hope that's the influence of the band themselves.

I'm happy with it. Let's give them a lot of credit for leaving in the part where Rina miscued Love Me Do and they had to start again. For me the whole thing has a great live feel. Wish they'd showed a little of the warm-up bands before the main gates were opened though.

Yeah, that's pretty cool. Haruna seems like she re-intro'd it intentionally so they could cut out the first try, but then they left it in. For a little while they had a tendency to vastly overproduce their discs, to make them sound almost like studio albums, and I'm glad to see them pulling back a bit from that and letting it be a little more raw again. Their first two live DVD's were really raw; this one is the most like those since that time.

I still haven't made it all the way through, but man they look HOT. I mean literally hot, like it's obvious that it was just a brutal day out there. They are really doing their best, but sometimes it's obvious how the heat's affecting them. They almost don't even do the Shojo S choreography, for example. I'm sure that takes a bit of energy. Rina also understandably just looks physically worn out from about the 4th song onwards. (Well, at least up until about the 15th, which is about as far as I've gotten so far.) That kind of weather has gotta be tough on a drummer. I don't understand how any of them manage to still have such great looking hair by the end of it. (I skipped around a bit.)

Are you sure your laptop can read Blu-ray discs? Not every laptop can read BRs (it needs to have a BR-readable drive), so you should probably make sure first if yours can or cannot read them.

I don't think VLC works with Blu-ray. If your laptop reads BD try to open with PotPlayer. You might also need to decrypt the Blu-ray Disc...AnyDVD works fine with decrypting BDs...Or you can try MakeMKV to rip the video...BDs come with the latest versions of AACS so you need to have the newest version of MakeMKV
