You were one of the first people that I met on this forum, and you were such a cool guy. Thanks for everything in the SHCB, your enthusiasm, and everything you've done for the SH community.

I can't believe it! I'm so shocked! I really can't believe it...

I've had the honor of doing a few collaborations with him. He had amazing talent as a bassist and I shared a lot of his tastes in Japanese and Korean music. 

May your soul rest in peace Brett. Thanks for your contribution to Scandal Heaven and for your interaction with me through social media. Your contribution will be missed. I really enjoyed watching your covers and your posts on twitter.

I have interacted with sourchicken once - about the time when OOR fans were trying to score a fast-selling ticket for the OOR gig in London last year. He advised me on getting an O2 sim card so as I could get on the priority list. I still didn't get into the presale although I managed to get a tix in the end. He said he was going to the show with mikan, another S-H forummer. Wished I had met up.

RIP, man. Will miss your bass and guitar covers.

Wow, this is just sad. :< He looked so young! It's sad to know he passed away at an early age. He was really talented.

Truly sad, I was able to see him a few times on Shout Box. Your memories will live on forever.

just heard the news today. i revived my account for this. i feel so sad right now and suddenly missed the good old days on the shoutbox

i may have not interacted with him that much back in the days but i have always thought of him as a great guy.

I just heard the news from his blog that was posted live today.

We talked numerous times over these past years, and as late as 2 weeks ago. Rest in peace Brett, you will always be remembered in SH for your contributions and presence here.

Finally, condolences to his family and friends who are in a very difficult situation right now.

Damn I only found out today. We were never really close but I know he's one of the most respected here. Thanks for contributing a lot to SH. Condolences to your family and may you rest in peace.

My Canadian friend and former SH member Belz just wanted to say how sorry he was to hear about Brett
( Sourchicken ) as he knew him too in his time here.

I've gathered £90 and decided to split it up.

£50 for the flowers and £40 for the Mental Health Charity his mum have chosen.
