met up with somechineseguy yesterday since we do live in the same area, that was fun. Hope I get a chance to meet up with the rest of you sometime soon!

It was nice meeting you two, I had a nice time hanging around.

I'd probably go again next year, since it was such a unique experience. First time seeing so much cosplay and otakus in one place!

And yeah I'm going to Australia. I'm actually spending a week in Japan and a week in Australia just for summer vacation and to visit family  You'll fit in the suitcase somehow. If you close one eye and turn your head to the side, and close the other eye. Yeah, you'll fit! ><

ah. i finally found canadians here! yoroshiku minna! i live in north york, only ones i know right now is rachel and plutonium-sama. 

uh.. i stopped cosplaying 2011? cause of some minor issues with a group of four very pretty goddess-like female chinese cosplayers from sauga *cough*

not planning to go to any cons anymore cause

1. *issues stated above*
2. cosplay is so freakin expensive (i did L from deathnote,kazuki fuuchoin from get backers, amaimon from ao no exorcist, violet from kuroshitsuji, etc before)
3. i gave away all my props and tools save one ( a silver crow pair of wings custom made for me)
4. i usually go alone cause i have no friends (eating a hotdog alone in the grass is my definition of fun)

UNLESS scandal decides to do a live here at ANY con, i wont go.

@topic / thread: I know for the July and August there is ribfest (I dunno the exact dates, probably on the long weekends) and Toronto Night Market (Really uptown, like Markham uptown). We could potentially meet up there but travelling times would really suck.

Or we can have option of going downtown for lunch / dinner + coffee (Cause apparently, the guy named KuroKitsu wants to spread the gospel... but that method of eating your timbits with your coffee is totally overrated .evilgrin.)... but if you guys do ever come up uptown (Markham) KuroKitsu and I live around there so don't hesitate to contact us.

no they're not crazy, i just did something er.. creepy-ish. and they're so famous now among canadian cosplayers.

@hitorikun another person in the TO area, yay! Im in the North York area all the time...mostly for the Kroeans though...and the food, thought the commute time is longgggg with all construction for the Viva stuff in Markham. As for those reasons you quit cosplaying, I had almost that same list of issues. From experience though, most cosplayers of decent caliber ARE huge assholes. Regarding travel, Somechineseguy and I are probably the only ones up in Markham so a meetup probably involves us commuting anyways.

@thread: If we're gonna meet up, lunch is most likely more preferable for me. My parents wouldn't like me staying out too late. Plus I'm most likely gonna be taking public transportation alone so I can't stay out for too long. 

And coffee dipping timbits... I still don't know how I feel about that...

there's another con coming up, its caled unplugged expo.. if i remember correctly,this one is like a small con only, so no big crowds.  if its a sunday, i can prolly go.

Even if we were to go, I would much rather meet up somewhere downtown and just hang around that area looking for place to eat / chat / coffee and the like without paying for an entrance fee for a con. My wallet would love me that much more haha!

@kawaii93 it really depends on preference, Im a coffee and timbit fiend so it makes sense. somechineseguy is just trying to deny his true nature anyways.

@hitorikun Them eh....Not sure if I have very high standards...but I was never a fan of them (Not that Im like most non-Japanese Cosplayers to begin with.... ugh attitude issues)

@thread Ill probably be out of town mid-July for a road trip to the East Coast, but Im free before and after that. Not too fond of meeting up at con, its expensive and just for a meetup isnt worth it for me.

its not decided that its on a con anyways XD (plus im kind of scared to see them,all my fault tho).. im not that sociable, so i dont have any idea where to "hang out" or whatnot. as long as it involves (not so expensive) food,im in.
