yosha. i have a legit question .ehem. : has anyone here (SH CDN) been to japan for a visit? if so, 
a. how much did it cost usually for airfare and hotel for lets say a week
b. is it easy to go around tokyo (or any city) once you get there or do you have to have a high knowledge of nihonggo/ japanese reading comprehension?
c. have you gone to any of SCA-chan's live and did you faint?
d. how much was your budget (excluding airfare/hotel)

if all goes well with my papers this year, i might go next year (nii sen juu go nen)(unless theyll announce a north american tour next year) .wtf.

@hitorikun Im sorry to say Ive been there but I had no idea, my ex's family was fairly wealthy and I didnt have to pay for anything...cuz they paid for me. I mainly went for food and shopping (mecha toys), but I was fine since kanji is floating around a lot.

@hitorikun: I'm visiting Japan this year, and my fare is about $1500. It also depends on which airline you're going on, if you're doing a one way or round trip, adult or child, and all that jazz. As for the other questions, I'll get back to you when I get back home. I'm leaving at the beginning of August.

@ Thread: Would be nice meeting you. Would be a lot of achievement in my life : first time speaking to an English person(only if a say a word actually), speaking to as much people that i talked too out of family and school in a single moment! and if kawaii is present, would not be the youngest somewhere for the first time of my life :O. Only problem now is that i'll be back at to my house during next week so i'll be at 8 hour from Montréal so basicly, far far away from you  (Montréal still 6 hour to get to Toronto don't know where you are in Ontario but this is the only reference that i have) You can come to me if you want and if we go see a movie it will be in french xD. I think if you go to a Tim in Québec they will speak English? Not sure.

I wouldn't mind a meetup downtown, but hopefully we can find a time convenient for everyone.

@hitorikun: $1500 definitely does not include hotel. There's different types of hotels/cottages/forms of shelter to choose from, and they all vary in pricing. You need to do some research before going, and see which type suits you best.

@Shanipika: Eh? I'm younger than you? And they do speak French if you go to a Tim's there. I used to visit Montreal a lot when I was younger.

@thread: If we do a meetup, is it okay if I bring a friend? My parents feel uncomfortable with me going to Toronto to meet with people they aren't familiar with.

@somechineseguy You must eat poutine? Ever tried poutine in Québec? I heard we have the best poutine in the world here. Actually, some rumors are saying that it have been created in the same city where i am : Drummondville.

@thread For me, the best time to meet you would be when i'll be able to teleport. You guys know how we do that? Actually was thinking about something but, here we have an event where artist come from everywhere in the world (Well evey year we have less country coming, this year only 7 troup and USA weren't even one of em) and i know in the past Japan had people coming in the past year, even heard somewhere that Kyary Pamyu Pamyu came to this (Really not sure if it's true lol) but was thinking maybe one day (one day = next year or even more years after because this year it's already over) we could see Scandal there? Actually that's probably only a random dream that i have that will never come true since normally it's more traditionnal dance troup with a group that play traditonnal music to dance to and the only troup we had from Asia this year was Taiwan but.... that would be awesome.


P.S. Anyone worked on a teleportation of some sort for me? Or i have to create it by myself? I mean, I'm not gonna walk those 1400 Km so I really need that thing xD

Euhmmmm I can play flute? You know that old soprano flute that you get when going at elementary school? Don't know if it's everywhere but here we have this. Still remember that last song we played in sixth grade : Wake Me Up When September End - Green Day (Actually trying to learn Namida no Regret on my flute but the note are higher than what i usually played and it's hard to play those  ) Can also sing.... a little but the only judge on my voice is me since i never sing when someone can ear me lol.

I can't find the real name of the flute i'm playing in English. In french we say Flute a Bec, but on Google traduction, that traduct to ''recorder'' and i don't see the link lol. Anyone know?

Also, did Pokemon play in Canada after season 5 (I know there is now 17 season) because actually here in Québec we only had 5 Season of Pokemon at tv movie 1 to 7 and well, all the game. Really feel like Québec is anti-Japan, Naruto stopped playing after regular Naruto (before the end) and there is not a single other anime that played here.
