I know this is very late .please. , but finally I finished my review for the Concert. I tried to put my own perspective as some of the points had been mentioned by Babaloued.
- My Review:
Well, it is the long awaited moment for me. It's the first time I'll be watching SCANDAL Concert in Japan. I've been to SCANDAL Concert before, but I heard that the concert in Japan is in a different level than the overseas one. I am on a Summer Study in Japan now, and I stay in Fujimidai, Nerima, which is roughly around 1 hour 30 minutes from Yokohama Arena. I got my ticket from Jibba, who helped me buy the ticket.- Day 1:
I woke up abit late at 6.45, and went off from my place around 7.30. After getting abit lost because of alighting at the further station from the Yokohama Arena, I finally reached the venue reaching the venue just a quarter before 10, and the queue was really long. It was actually a queue for the merchandise, because the concert have seat number, so we don't need to rush to queue for a good view.
I was queueing quite behind, while some other SH members who went earlier than me was quite in front of me. Unfortunately, it was raining when we were queueing. Well, lucky I bring my umbrella to the concert venue.
After around 2 hours of queueing, I finally getting into the merchandise shop. The shop was fortunately indoor so it didn't get affected by the rain. I went to the shop and wanted to buy few stuffs but end up overspent my money @.@. There's SCANDAL stands we can take photo with. I bought like two shirts, two towels, one CANTA doll, plus few accessories. and of course, I took photo with that stands
After buying the stuffs, I went to one of SGSH member - Yp's room to put our stuffs down, before we heading to some stalls to have our lunch. I finally meet some other SH members I’ve never seen before, like WoOt1337, babaloued, 320x200, and zimbobbio plus some of the SH members from Singapore. Never thought I can meet them, when first time I met them in the forum. XD After having lunch, we went to queue for the concert.
The SH members took photo together in front of YokoAri before the concert, writing SCANDAL-HEAVEN in a board someone (a staff?) brought to the concert place. After getting inside the arena, I went once again to the Merchandise Shop to buy the SCANDAL Japan T-Shirt, as well as taking photo with CANTA.
I was supposed to sit at quite back at stand, before BB offered me a ticket in center area, much closer to the stage. I wasted my stand ticket but getting the ticket in Center Area is too good to be missed. I am really grateful that I can have Center Seat. My seat is on row 30, just beside Shaun (SGSH member - did I write his name correctly? XD), which is relatively close compared to my stand ticket, which is second last from the behind.
Impressions for each parts of the song. Personally, some of the most memorable songs in this concert is SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE, STANDARD, and Taiyou SCANDALOUS, plus Haruka
SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE
Started the concert in a really high song. I really like SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE but I didn’t expected that they will have it for the opening on the song. It was a really nice song to open the concert because it brought the mood up. Especially during the time we the member’s name during the song, it was freaking awesome. The crowd were really high when they say “TOMOMI”, “MAMITASU”, “RINA”, and “HARUNA”. Until now scandal in the house is still banging my head.
STANDARD
Standard was really high, and this song is probably made specially for live concert. The song is just made easy for crowd to shout during the echo part. “What is your standard?” at the end is just epic!
Video Intro: Cool video, didn’t expect that kind of video played in the concert. Well, HARU is really hot in this video, but I like the interaction between the members of the band towards the end of the video.
Haruka
A very emotional song. This song is special for me because of special meaning and this song made my cried when SCANDAL sang it on the stage.
Taiyou SCANDALOUS
A very high moment, after few of rather calm songs. Everyone is jumping here and there during the beginning and the refrain. Btw, Haruna’s red ball is just too beautiful to resist. One of my favourite HARU concert outfit so far, it's just so classy. The red ball looks so fuwa fuwa and really suits HARUNA.
To be honest, I was a bit disappointed not to see Shoujo S or Shunkan Sentimental in the concert, but nevertheless, Taikimi still made the concert ends in a high mood.
MC Day 1 (Can’t really remember which part)
Rina was so happy for being 6 years together in the bands, from she was in the High School, while HARU, TOMO, and MAMI were in the high school. She said she want to have live in Nissan Stadium someday. I remember TOMO also said she can see everyone in the arena, including those in stands.
After encore they go from one side to another side to say thanks to the supporters before going off from the stage.
One interesting thing, the crowds continued singing SCANDAL BABY after the show. It was a really amazing experience, even though the bands is already resting, the crowds still going high and crazy singing the song. After the concert, we went to have dinner in McDonald before going back to our own place.
- Day 2:
I decided not to queue from the very morning because I had got my merchandise I want to buy, plus I was tired and I’d rather rest myself well so I can enjoy the concert well. I went to the concert place a bit late because I want to explore a bit Yokohama (I went to Cup Noodle Museum, after BB told me he went there). After lunch, I meet with BB, Yuujin Ang, and the gank.
I went to buy the rubber band because there’s no queue anymore and the design is slightly different from the first day. I got same colour again (In total I bought 5 and got like 3 green bands and 2 orange), but thanks to Uncle Flare who gave me one of his rubber bands so I have another different colour.
Again, we take a photo together in the arena because we’re having different members showing up on different day. Then we enter the concert hall. Again, I get better seat thanks to BB who sold his seat to me because he got better seat. I got a slightly better seat than yesterday row 24, just beside babaloued.
Generally, the impression for the songs are the same, especially with unchanged set list from day one.
MC: I remember HARU saying that the ball might block the view for people standing on her right side, so she would try to move her body, so everyone can see her face.
To sum up, it was the best live I've been into. No words can describe how wonderful it is and how happy for me being able to attend it. I’m really grateful that some friends helped me so that I was able to watch this concert. I’m also really happy to meet some of the SH friends I’ve never seen in the real life, as well as new friends outside SH. Special Thanks to Jibba, mj, and BB who helped me a lot in this concert.
PS: There’s only one thing I regret in this concert, I should've brought a present for them to be given after the concert. I brought a Batik (Indonesian traditional motive) scarf, but I forget to bring it on the second day. There were present box outside the concert venue by the staffs when you can pass presents to the staffs to be given to SCANDAL.
