Dobondobondo also performed during every stop of their BABY ACTION fall hall tour in 2011, so about 15 times before they did it again at this year's Band Yarou Yo!!


I'm guessing that they'll perform "SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE" during their upcoming fall hall tour. It seems like something they'd definitely do, especially since they like to do duos/group songs during the hall tours. The first hall tour was Dobondobondo/HARU + RINA singing "Shoujo M," the second hall tour was RINA and TOMO performing "OSAKA"/HARU and MAMI doing "Aitai" acoustically. They also all performed "TOKYO" on stage without their instruments for most of the song at the first BEST Xmas in 2009 (on their 1st DVD).

Ah nice, didn't know that about Dobon So it's a good news, as you said they will surely play it in the tour then. But still that won't be aired on TV and i'm slightly worried they don't perform it on TV because it's such a different/special song. Tour live is great... if you can go to Japan and get a ticket =P

Unless they make a DVD of the tour... What are the chances for that? Thinking about it a DVD from the tour could be great if they sell it in early 2014 ^_^

scandal never do dvds for the 'small tours' doesn't they? they did for the final for the first tours (as best scandal and temptation box), but lately they do dvd for the biggest concerts as budokan and osaka-jo hall (in fact queens are trumps doesn't have a dvd). never truly understood why actually .sweat.
but I'm sure, somehow and someday, we'll have a dvd with scandal in the house performance to watch. it feels too amazing!

oh I forgot, maybe it's too early for asking this, but are the girls talking about themself and then introducing the member they were talking about or the one is going to introduce herself in the lyrics of SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE? sounds like this at first, and, if this is the case, totally reminding me to another song of some japanese boyband that I totally love .love.  always wanted a 'scandal (itself) parody song' ahah. but yeah, maybe not this time

SCANDAL in the house was really cool! It's a perfect coupling for Over Drive xD Anyone has an idea when will they release their PV for SCANDAL in the house? I'm really excited about it xD

The SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE PV will be released along with the album, as a part of one of the editions, if I'm correct. I'm not sure if it's regular or not, though.

@Af8!: Yes, it'll be on STANDARD but on the DVD edition.

So they won't release it before like they do with their singles? xD

Probably not, because OVER DRIVE will most likely have a PV.

@MamiOgawa: "SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE" is a B-side song--it's not the main track of the single so it's not going to be treated the same way as the title track, "OVER DRIVE," will be treated. I think it's going to be treated the same way as the "SCANDAL no Theme" PV was, where it wasn't made available to the public until it was released on the DVD edition of BABY ACTION.

So yeah, I don't think we'll be able to see it until the album comes out 2 weeks after the single.

Whoa! I'm really liking both OVER DRIVE and SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE. 

OVER DRIVE has that Avril Lavigne-ish kind of feel for me, which really suits them IMO. I was hoping that they would release something like this for awhile now, and the wait did not disappoint at all. They did a great job with this song. I can't wait to see what they do with the PV.

SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE was just begging for some major bass wobbles. It's still a really fun song though, definitely something that can perk up their lives.

And Tomo still kills me with her cuteness. "YAY! *sneeze* chu~". Kawaii!!!

Didn't she talk about always going "chu" after she sneezes in one of the Summits? I can't remember which one it was.

Well it's a bit of a special single it seems (no outfits, the cover, very close to the album release, a b-side that gets a PV) and if you talk about the sticker it makes sense to not add one because they don't have a photoshoot/outfit for it right?

Anyway, had a weird dream this night about the b-side =P The PV was out and when i checked the video on youtube it had like 500 millions views the first day O_O Because the PV was so crazy/awesome, the girls so cute, the dance moves awesome and all, the song got viral and after a few days it became like Gangnam Style, everybody was talking about it and about SCANDAL and dancing like in the video. Also remember reading a news about saying the single OVER DRIVE got a new sale record and sold for dozen of millions.

But even in a stupid dream I didn't imagine how the PV was, or at least can't remember it :toj:Only thing I remember (barely) is seeing RINAxHARUNA with the Dobon outfit and TIMOxMAMI laughing at them

I don't necessarily mean a sticker, because it's not always a sticker, but just a member-specific bonus in general for the 4 usual stores. They've offered those for every one of their singles since their Yumemiru Tsubasa single, so up until Kagen they had done that for 13 of their singles--that's almost all of them. I don't mind them changing it up, but I'm just surprised that they decided to change it up after so many years and releases. Yeah, they don't have specific outfits for this single, but they could have done something like stickers featuring the individual members in their drawn forms from the cover.

Though I am kind of glad they didn't have anything this time; I hate always paying extra to get the HARU bonuses from Tower. Hah.

Well you are right about the sticker but it would have been "weird" with just the drawing but yeah better than nothing.

We're getting a bit off-topic since we're talking about releases other than OVER DRIVE, but they've had coasters (TaiScan & Kagen) and member-specific posters (ENCORE SHOW, which isn't actually a single, though) as bonuses before. I'm only talking about the 4 store (Tower, TSUTAYA, HMV, Shinseido) bonuses, of course.


And back on topic: they'll be performing "OVER DRIVE" for the first time on MUSIC STATION next Friday. It won't be the full song, though; they never play entire songs for TV program performances.

@Uldred: No, they don't. You would need to use a buying service to get one, and you'll probably end up paying at least double the amount of the actual CD after all of the buying/shipping fees.

I'm late here, as always... But about the "OVER DRIVE" song, it has the "S.L. Magic" feelings, doesn't it? I mean, I think "OVER DRIVE" is almost an pop upgrade of this tune. Very nice~

I'm with the few of us who didn't quite like SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE. As music, at least.

I liked it for the novelty, for the energy, for it being something different, but mostly because it's SCANDAL. To me, it sounds like random noise from the girls having fun. Something they would do spontaneously at lives, without being rehearsed as a proper song.

Sure I'm waiting for a fun PV and even more fun live presentations, but if it weren't SCANDAL performing something like SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE, I wouldn't even listen to it. Just not my type of song. At least we have OVER DRIVE as a proper song.
