My answer would be never.
I didn't have the funds the last time they came to California, so I wasn't able to see them. I'm hoping they'll come back eventually though. c: I'm jealous of you all who have gotten to see them before.

Yeah, I was just making a joke. It was a longer show than their other shows as well - but not *that* much longer. It was about 2 hours and 40 minutes, and the DVD has that cut down to 2 hours and 16 minutes. Their other live DVD's are 1 hour 28 minutes and 1 hour 14 minutes, respectively. Some of that's MC but I think there are 2-3 more songs in there too.

But the joke was more about the overall experience of being there for such a special show. Obviously I don't really think I've seen them 3-4 times just because I saw them at a big show. (I voted "once" up above.) And I'm really jealous of anyone who gets to see them multiple times, or anyone who's been able to go to a meet & greet. I have no idea when I'll be able to see them again. It was hard enough getting tickets once, and I just lucked out with my travel plans.

Once in Singapore....next aim is to try to catch them live in Japan someday.

Technically, in real life, only one live I've attended so far: the March Asia Tour. But if you also count dream-meeting, I've met them a couple times or so. .toj.

wheres the 'LIKE' button ... i have seen them live twice in Singapore over 2 day shows went there esp for the Scandal live (not counting dream meetings lol good one)

getting tickets for other asian countries is easier u can get them online most of the time. I think Japan tickets may be harder, u may need a friend in Japan to help or 3rd party company like Celga

I wasn't talking about that (the regular shows) but about their promotions on TV where they play one song or when they only play 3-4 songs.

What I meant is that some people may have see them one time but their experienced must have been really different depending on the show. It's not the same thing seeing SCANDAL in a TV show or a a special concert like Budokan obviously.

Plus, they have cellphone-based fan club in Japan, which most likely is the most updated fanbase, and it probably offers ticketing system too somehow. So you're right, if you're from outside Japan, you're gonna have a hard time competing for tickets with their Japanese fans in their own country.

Unlike their lives in Japan, Scandal's lives outside Japan have much less crowd expectancy most of the time. Plus ticketing is usually only available through internet. So you have pretty much less competition, which is why I was able to see them once when they were doing live here.

Even if I save some money to go to their Japan lives like Jade did, it'd take me years before I could go there for their local lives...

I was going to plan a trip to Japan primarily to see SCANDAL as well as explore Japan for the first time. But alas, alot of things didn't line up:

1. Have to schedule for SCANDAL lives well in advance.
2. Nobody else wanted or had time to go with me to Japan
3. As a 20 year old, going to a foreign country alone with no help at all and no idea how to speak their native language...yeah it is not pretty. Wayyy too much planning involved.

Guess at least one of these things have to happen before I can see them:
A. I am older (22+) and have enough money to travel to Japan alone and just follow SCANDAL at my own leisure
B. They come to US and I fly at the speed of light to wherever they are.

I'm itching to watch their live again now
I hope they'll come to Indonesia again
but I'm also planning to watch their live in Japan someday

Great news for you indeed lol :D I think the hardest thing is not that you cannot speak Japanese but your money  .sweat.

With my lastest internship in Japan, I suppose I can udpate how many times I have seen Scandal :p So currently 5 times

I'd been to both of their 2 concerts in Hong Kong. Spacecadet said it right! They are loud! Loud and hard rocking as any rock bands. These girls shine on stage. Their concert is one of my best live experience!
Trust me! If you happen to have the chance or able to make the effort to go see them live abroad, don't miss it! You will love Scandal 10 times more and thanks yourself for the rest of your life you was there!

Twice. My first time was at Best Xmas 4 in December 2012. I posted my account in the topic for that concert.

Second time was at Hawaii, and I got to meet them! I also met lots of new fellow fans (and reconnected with some old friends), which made the trip even better than it would have been with just the SCANDAL events alone.

I plan to at least double this number during the world tour!

I've now seen them three times (which I never thought would happen)... but I'd almost give up all those memories to have one of the VIP tickets to the HW tour. Photo with the band, aieeeeeee!

I guess the point is, it's all about quality, not quantity.

Haven't seen them live yet. Even with lots of stops in this world tour going on, not even one show i'd be able to go to.

Still saving for my travel in Japan~ Would want to see them live there, since some goods are only available in japan leg lol. Someday~ I want to see them live in a livehouse first, then Arena~
I hope by next year, everything would be fine and I could go lol.
