M-On's audio editing for Jo-Hall's live was poor so I don't think you could really compare the sound based on that. The best way to compare both of the drums is of course to hear them directly. I don't think SCANDAL will give permission for that or at least wait for the DVD to be released, whenever that is.

Yeah, the broadcast was so fast after the show there wasn't any time for audio work. Like you said the DVD/bluray should be a lot better. The audio from the early TV broadcast of the 2010 tour was much different from the DVD where they had cleaned it up, removed microphone feedback, etc

It's a really tricky thing.
Nowadays, knowing the true sound of a professional artist's drum set is quite difficult because the use of microphones and equalizers which could totally change the sound of the drums. Also, everyone's taste are different so you can't really say which is better and which is worse. One of the best example is like how I honestly dislike the sound of Rina's Hi-hat especially when it's opened while someone else might like it, Rina does.

Yup. Agree too. But, in this case, i just want wondering which is better, i mean which is ''perfect'' for Rina. Like, Mami is perfect with her Yuuya-kun .smile.

.love. the drum looks good plus she can be more comfortable with that less tomtoms .. cant wait to see her perform with celine // can someone recommend me what next album to buy ..
