For any Americans, do you bother with the DVD's cause I hear that most DVD's have become region locked and the DVD will only play certain ways and all this other stuff.

Pretty much, if your in Region 1, do you buy Region 2 dvds and are you still able to watch them without voiding any type of warranty?

I have a Japanese PS2 that I use to watch Region 2 DVD's. Will come in handy with both this Live DVD and the Limited Edition of Temptation Box that comes with DVD!

You can get a code that unlocks the regions of some dvd players, don't think it does anything to the warranty. Try googling your dvd player model. I don't have to worry since I'm region 2 .cool.

If you're willing to burn yourself a play copy and put your real copy in a drawer or shelf somewhere, you can use certain programs to break the encryption, then make a region-less copy that can be played anywhere.

There are also a few cases where a DVD doesn't get a region code, but Sony being Sony, this will probably have one.
