On this time SCANDAL x Loups=Garous collaboration, SCANDAL are not only in charge of composing the songs but also made appearance in the movie as a band that is admired by Mio and her friends. The four members are each casting their own role, therefore challenging themselves as a voice actor. So, we went to where the postrecording took place and interviewed them.

# Recording using standard Japanese was hard
- What are your impressions about participating in the postrecording session?
MAMI: I like anime in the first place, so I always admire the voice actor job. I was very happy to do it. But, the real thing is harder than I thought and I was very nervous about it.
TOMOMI: I was born in Kansai, so even though I'm trying to talk in standard Japanese, sometimes dialects just came out unconsciously. It was hard. Though my part was just only two words, I tried my best so it would not sound awkward.
RINA: The tempo of the conversation was also a problem. How fast does a normal people speak? I was thinking hard about it while acting. But then again, I think becoming someone other than yourself is actually hard.
HARUNA: At the postrecording, I was surprised because the words we usually use in our usual conversation didn't come out! The lines were already prepared so we need to speak exactly as the script said.

# The new anime PV also made appearance in the movie
- What are your impressions when you see your song including your moves got played in the movie? Please tell us all you can tell.
MAMI: First of all, about us being a legendary band (laugh), that made me really happy. And also, with SCANDAL being portrayed in an anime set in the future, I think that was amazing.
RINA: Apart from composing, an anime collaboration is a new experience for us. I would be very happy if more people can get to know us using this opportunity!
HARUNA: It's just, I feel some kind of pressure with just by becoming a part of the story. A legendary band on top of that (laugh). I think we still need to do our best so that we could become such existence.
TOMOMI: During the composing of the songs, me and Haruna teamed up to fill the vocal. There are two girls aiming for the same boy in the story. So, we were thinking about combining our different voice characteristic for it.

# The theme is "Girl's power to survive"!?
- Kyogoku-san said that "Loups=Garous"-like world is getting closer and closer to our real life. How about SCANDAL? What message are you trying to convey through the music?
MAMI: I also think that this is a time where people tend to avoid communication just like in the movie. But, I think a band itself is a great way of communication. For example, when people had interest in "SCANDAL", he/she also had the feelings of wanting to challenge many things like, playing instruments, singing, dancing, or anything else.
RINA: We might not be able to do big things like influencing a person's future. But one thing for sure, the present is what creates our future, so we shouldn't ever forget to value the present time and live your life in a proper way. Even if it's just a little amount of it, I would be very happy to become a person that can support others like that.
TOMOMI: Just until a while back, I thought that boys are always on the top position in everything. But, through "SCANDAL's" songs we want to tell our fellow girlfriends that "In this time, girls are also strong!", so let's pump our spirit together now. "Our near future will be created by girls! Boys, follow us!", or something like that. (laugh)
HARUNA: I think so too. And I'm sure that your future will become a bright one! Girls should start to make a move carrying determintaion with you, just like what we currently do. You can really feel the subject of this movie, "Girl's power to survive", if you watch it. So, I really want for girls around our age and people who are going to live their future from now on to watch this movie. And also, I think there are also fans of the original works of "Loups=Garous" and also fans of Kyogoku-sensei who are looking forward to this movie, so I want many people to watch it.

- While there is nothing else beside the promotion video right now, but I felt that "SCANDAL's" music will bring a fresh new appeal for "Loups=Garous". We will be looking forward to its completion. Thank you very much for your time today.
