I just saw the SL Magic cover! Sorry for being MIA. A lot of stuff went down in the past few months. It was so good!

Regarding the deadline idea, I've been a part of collabo daisakusen for a couple of years now. ( https://www.youtube.com/user/CollaboDaisakusen ) And I think having a deadline for projects would be a good idea. We usually do two weeks recording after we have a complete lineup for the selected songs and then another two weeks for mixing/editing. It works great for us. But bearing in mind that we work every season so we have a schedule we strictly follow unlike SH collab projects I think we can take our time but still have a deadline. Just my two cents.

I agree, a deadline should be in place so we can at least do it in a timely manner!

One of those "Have it in by (insert date here)" deals. If there are guidelines people will probably follow. Go for it!!! ;D

Alright ! Some people are still missing but I'm thinking starting deadline idea as soon as we get drum track. As mikan said, we are going to take our time, 2 weeks to complete all tracks might be too much :D So let's try with something cool and we will reduce the time needed according with how it goes.

What I propose is:
- Deadline for each role (bass/guitars/vocals/mixing/video editing) and not for all tracks like mikan. I do not include drum track as, in my opinion, it is the most important track for the whole project and I do not want to "stressed" person who's going to record it.

- As soon as we have drum track, deadline is 2 weeks to record your track. If nothing, I'm going to PM you and you will have 1 more week to reply or post your track.
It's in the case where we are waiting the previous track to start the next one(*)

- In total, you will have 3 weeks to record record your track with a total of... around 3 months.

- In the worst case, we will replace the person...

(*)Deadline will start from the week after we get the previous track. For exemple, if bass track is provided wednesday 3rd, deadline for guitars will start from monday 8th to sunday 21th. Then I'm going to PM and you have until 28th/29th to reply to PM or post your track

Tell me what you think about it.

i'm with you, except the deadline for each instruments. i think it should be 2 weeks maximum, because you dont want to have the next person in line to wait too long. (3 weeks for one instrument is too long, in my opinion)

and i know life goes and unpredictable things happen, so if you think that you cant do your part right on deadline, please let the others know so that we can figure things out. dont wait til babaloued PM you.

I'm sad to announced that graffixron have to bow out to the current project (Departure) so "drum" is now vacant to anyone who wants to do it. (This cover starts badly OTL)
